City v Arsenal Post Match

I just don't understand how are we so bad at set pieces. Corners in particular. I lost the count of how man we took today, and I think one was good and we had a chance from it.

16 corners and hardly a decent one amongst them. We really need to do something about this.

Credit to Arsenal; they defended well, but we have to be more imaginative in front of goal against teams who come to defend deeply.

Not good enough, City.

We can't afford in tight games to have no clue whatsoever with corners,

This is playing with one leg tied behind our back. It's been going on for 3 years now, It needs sorting, and it needs sorting right now, Hire some people, fire some people. But sort it out, now.

Absolutely. We're throwing away a key advantage in the name of 'playing football the right way'.

We need Chelsea to start picking up some key injuries and bookings fast too. We simply can't keep limping along without our best players against a Chelsea side with their best players every single week. Every top team can suffer the odd loss, but we're consistently unable to field our best side.

Bad day at the office. But we need to work on set pieces on both sides of the field. This aspect on the surface at least seems to have been ignored by management. This really has to change or we will not win the league this season.

As I said , unlucky bad day, Arsenal scored from a phantom penalty and set pieces again made us concede the second goal. There was a lot of drive in the second half when Jovetic came on but we could not get the break.

The first half was wasted more or less due to personnel, e.g Milner not match fit at all for whatever reason, our lack of tempo and Arsenals tactical approach.

The title is still far from over but a disappointing day nonetheles

It was a bad day. It happens. Arsenal have a quality team.

It was a wonderful performance.

Great stuff all around.
Couldn't agree more. I'm going to happy clap myself to sleep tonight. Proud of the boys. Not one dimensional slow drivel at all.

Jesus Navas's game by numbers vs. Arsenal:
18 failed crosses
0 take-ons completed
1 key pass
74% pass accuracy.

Just terrible.

Where is that from ?
