City V Bayern Champions League Final

Personally think Bayern would be a disaster in the final especially if we have missed out on top 4. Beat them and the media will slag Pep off for throwing it in order to get City a CL place next year. Lose and Pep will feel he's fucked his new club over so not an ideal start to his reign. Playing them in the semi would be a different story.

UEFA no doubt want a Bayern/Madrid final so I can't see us getting Athleti in the semis.

Bayern or Madrid? We can score against either of these but we already know how to beat Bayern so I prefer them marginally.
We won't miss out on top four. The team is finding form at the right time and looking more solid at the back. Our injured players are few in number, now. Win on Saturday and it's as good as done imho, but we'll get more chances.

Wish I shared your confidence, with all due respect to Villa, if we lose at Chelsea the gap will be one point.

Even if we are safe in fourth by the time of the final I still think it makes it a difficult game for Pep. Beating your new team in the biggest game of City's history not ideal. Lose and people start wondering why we got rid of the marvelous Pellegrini for the loser Guardiola.

Either way I'd prefer to play them in the semi final, knock them out and then take on Ronaldo in the final.

I'm laughing at the delusional nonsense I've just been reading on this forum.

We have less than zero chance of winning it this year.

We've hardly faced any serious competition other than Juventus (who beat us home and away) and some on here are thinking we can beat any of the remaining three.

This is the same kind of delusional stuff people were writing not so long ago that we would still win the league, completely ignoring the fact that we've been inconsistent all season long!

Sorry to be a party pooper, but we have no chance of winning the competition this year, BUT if we get to the final, that will be a HUGE achievement and something to proud of in my opinion.

Yeah, I cannot believe the nonsense some are spinning saying if we finish fifth and face Bayern in the finals that Pep would throw it. No he wouldn't. He would try to win it, as any professional would.

He would be remembered much more for another Champions League win than throwing a final, at least in a positive manner.

We don't even have to win a single game of the three possible ones left. Three draws and a penalty shoot-out and we've won it!

Your opinion. It's not delusional to hope that the club you support might have a slim chance of winning something.
