I agree that some of the people saying we could still win the league quite recently were a bit delusional, but I don't think that applies to the CL now we're in the semis. To win the league required us to win about 8 games in a row, having been inconsistent at best all season, AS WELL AS several teams above us having complete meltdowns. Although mathematically possible, that combination was so unlikely it did border on the delusional. Winning the CL, however, has a lot fewer moving parts, so even though I agree that it's still pretty unlikely, we don't need to rely on results outside our control and we don't need a long run of good form - just a couple of good performances and a bit of luck could be enough.I'm laughing at the delusional nonsense I've just been reading on this forum.
We have less than zero chance of winning it this year.
We've hardly faced any serious competition other than Juventus (who beat us home and away) and some on here are thinking we can beat any of the remaining three.
This is the same kind of delusional stuff people were writing not so long ago that we would still win the league, completely ignoring the fact that we've been inconsistent all season long!
Sorry to be a party pooper, but we have no chance of winning the competition this year, BUT if we get to the final, that will be a HUGE achievement and something to proud of in my opinion.
