City v Boro post match

Never going to win anything by drawing with bang average teams.

I fear a Liverpool, arse or spurs title. Unbearable.
Don't really disagree with the sentiment, but if drawing with bang average teams rules you out of winning anything, then presumably you should take the Arse (who also drew at home with Boro a couple of weeks back) and Spurs out of the title equation as well.

Looks like it finally is Liverplol's year :-)

Just got in. Got to say, that was boring. Boro will get a few draws away from home playing like that. Very difficult to break down. Not a great spectacle to watch though. Some in the East Stand Lower were leaving with 20 minutes to go - and I couldn't blame them.

6 points already lost at home to so called lesser opposition does not bode well for our Premiership title credentials. If we could only finish half of the excellent chances we create then we bury teams like this every time. Also we seem to be having one superb half with the other being average to poor. Pep still has a lot of work to do with his squad.

It's concerning but what the heck can Pep really do about that besides have them practice on their finishing which they already do every day in training?

I dunno? Go 4-4-2 or 3-5-3 and play both Iheanacho and Aguero together more? Aguero gets himself into a lot of situation, which partly nullifies how profiglate he is. But with two proven finishers chances are more will end up as goals...

That said there is also Nolito, who seems to know how to find the back of the net.

I reckon some rags have joined ever since Pep chose us over them, they are wanting to start a "Pep out" movement but there's no way he will go to them now so they best just get over it.

Don't get the negative knee jerk reactions on here. Having said that, a point at home to boro? - ****s.

Pellegrini would have got slated for that today. Pep's 'reputation' has clouded your judgment
Pep's getting slated after a few months at the club. Pellegrini only got pelters when it became apparent he was a big part of our problems. Let's give the world's best coach a bit longer eh?

Forget the manager......that performance today deserved 3 points, regardless and its that i will focus on rather than some phoney war on managers or past history on here.
