City v Boro post match

OK insert the word "decent" then. He's a weak link in this side, and has been for 18 months imho. As a forward player, in an attacking team he adds little, not even the odd goal.

Anyway back to the whole game, I don't get why people are happy that we've now dropped 6 points in our last 3 home games, and in each one it's the same 2 reasons, don't take numerous chances, and concede attacking f**king stupid goal.

It's no good keep saying it'll all be alright eventually, because it's costing us points, valuable points.

I don't disagree with you about Navas, but today he had a good game. I believe it was his cross that led to Silva's shot and Gundogan's half volley.

We're not as bad as people are trying to make out

What gives you the right to post offensive and derogatory comments like this and calling posters knicker wetters simply for stating their opinion? unless you were watching the Saturday film and not at the match you would have seen a team come out for the second half not being prepared to put the same effort in as the first half. resorting to passing about at the back exactly as done before (Sunderland at home comes to mind) with disastrous results. lack of concentration, poor technical control and generall being complacent. you sound happy with that. other posters on here me included are not.

If you feel my post was derogatory and offensive then feel free to report it.

Blah, blah, blah....my opinion etc etc etc.

My opinion is that this forum is full of rags, wums, trolls and yes, knicker wetters as soon as we dont win.

My opinion!

I'm just watching CFC v EFC. Hope Pep and the lads are watching how to put five past Everton. The away side have a weakened team and my ERO tells me that they are trying a 'weird' formation! Why don't we get the weakened sides and weird formations that clearly don't work,

Lacklustre this afternoon. Game was there for the taking but nothing seemed to be done with any urgency! Banked rows of defenders are never gonna let the ball through the eye of a needle, They need to be run at and outwitted by skill and trickery - and we seem to have little in the way of trickery. I think we really needed Sterling today and why didn't Sane get a sniff?

In tight games you have to take your chances.

Kun missed a sitter & Kev a scorable chance. If either had scored it would've been game over.

We have got to be like the All Blacks,RUTHLESS,RELENTLESS,REMORSELESS !!

Just not clinical enough in front of goal, keeper did well first half but we never really tested him again with most chances second half off target. Felt like a loss obviously but that's football.

We don't win a game and this forum is flooded with fuckwits. We should be used to it by now though.

I disagree that you can't control the tempo with minority possession or perhaps a better phrase would have been 'heavily influenced the tempo'. If you press us, like 'Boro did, then it still forces us to play at a pace we were uncomfortable with. We wanted to stroll and they wanted higher tempo, and caused it (imo). Whenever we did give the ball away, they were poised to play long ball and get in behind us. They squandered a handful of good breaks as a result of not being a clinical counter attacking team, but in the end, they managed to complete the job and grab a goal.

Depends on what you call 'deserve'. Obviously, we're the better footballing side, and had the lion's share of possession and chances, but at the same time, they defended pretty well, and Valdes made a great save. They almost lobbed Bravo too - which was definitely going it had Bravo not scrambled back successfully. If I were managing 'Boro, I'd say they deserved a point based on their resilience and talking that final chance when it came - but it's a moot point really.
I plain disagree with that assessment, 5 shots total they didn't really trouble us for most the game I don't know what you are counting as "chances" or "breaks", they are going to win the ball back at some point and try and break we can't count every instance of that as a "chance". I think you are being to generous to them personally, it was more about what we didn't do as I said but the end result is we dropped 2 points whether you think it was harsh or deserved we should just move on.

Today showed our lack of firepower up front. You won't win the league with Aguero and Kelechi as your forward line in the long run as there will be many more games like that. Gabirel Jesus cannot come quick enough.

Bang on. Why has Txiki overseen the destruction of our forward line?

Ha
I'm loving the juxtaposition of the word 'coherent' with the conspicuous absence of a full stop after '4'. Nice work fellah.
