City v Boro post match

Kun, Kelechi, Sterling, KdB, Nolito, Sane all say stop talking shit.

Dzeko, Ballotelli, Negredo wouldnt get a look in as well you know unless a certain Italian was still in charge which of course is what you secretly still desire, hence my mask comment.

Two of them are strikers and only one has ever scored 20 in a season. You're talking shit.

What mask is that?
Our problems begin and end with him and his activities in the transfer market. Our defence and forward line are considerably worse than when he arrived. We once had four 20 goal a season strikers and we now have one.

To be fair, Kelechi and Jesus are potentially 20 goal a season strikers, but that's irrelevant. Pep isn't going to be playing with two centre forwards. In fact, Pep traditionally doesn't play with any.

I'm mightily pissed off. I think Pep messed up today big time.

The more I think about the decision to bring Garcia on, the more bizarre it becomes.

Pep's not been averse to solidifying things at the back by bringing Fernando on in the past. I think if Fernando had been on the bench he would have come on.

Surely Kompany would have been the better option at that stage of the game than Garcia?

It was Pellegrini like apathy from Pep today. Hope it's a one off.

Fernando had a knock.

There's an equal amount of shit spouted on radio. I was stuck in Blue Car park for one whole fuckin' hour and the stay wasn't improved by some tool coming on the Jimmy Wagg/Paul Lake post match phone-in suggesting that he had little faith in Guardiola! Jeez, they have too be Rags!

he has been here for a matter of a few months, thats it and he has a minimum of 3 years to implement his plans, style and build his squad.

It takes time, he admits that himself as he has humility unlike others in this league.

Too many think its easy, black and white, always someones fault, always someone to blame, always someone who needs fucking off and sacked etc.

The club is moving forwards, constantly and it will be right up there with the greats in the coming years yet it seems some on here are just not prepared for it and just cant see it.

Im fucked off with throwing away 2 points today but fuck me, its hardly the end of the world and the bigger picture and the future has to be at the forefront of everyone's mind, rather than the here and now some constantly demand and crave.

Two of them are strikers and only one has ever scored 20 in a season. You're talking shit.

When you have woken to how we will play under Pep, come back.

In the meantime, reminisce about the good old days all you like.

Last minute goals are a killer. We had lots of chances for 2 and 3 nil. After barca there was always gonna be a dip in performance. Not fussed in the slightest. A point off top and sitting pretty in the champions league. Anybody who wants to be a mary ellen and have a meltdown aren't the real deal. Nice little 2 week break coming up, recharge the batteries and away we go. I fuckin love this club like life.

The point I make is I'm pretty sure Fernando would have come on if fit so why did he not bring Komps on instead?

And what would Kompany have done? We dropped two points because we created 25+ goal scoring opportunities but only put away one and Gael Clichy made an error leading to a thoroughly undeserved 92 minute equaliser. That's it.

You can analyse and speculate til the cows come home, but at the end of the day we didn't take our chances and were punished for it.

I plain disagree with that assessment, 5 shots total they didn't really trouble us for most the game I don't know what you are counting as "chances" or "breaks", they are going to win the ball back at some point and try and break we can't count every instance of that as a "chance". I think you are being to generous to them personally, it was more about what we didn't do as I said but the end result is we dropped 2 points whether you think it was harsh or deserved we should just move on.

You have to consider it from their perspective. They aren't going to come to City and dominate possession. They're going to come and defend as well as possible (which they did) and accept that they will get a handful of opportunities all game, but if they take one of those chances, they could snatch a point, or even nick 3 points if we don't score. From that perspective, that plan worked for them. Our plan didn't work for us.

They DID trouble us - but you're viewing trouble in terms of the number of chances they created, and I'm viewing it as the way they defended, which caused us trouble.

With a scoreline of 1-1 given we had so much possession, it's hard to claim they didn't cause us much trouble isn't it?

Fanboys need to get over their crush as he is no longer part of the plan.

Whether I have a "crush" on Yaya or not is irrelevant, we've dropped 6 points at home already this season, My own opinion is that Yaya's passing near the penalty box would have helped to convert some of those draws into wins (even if he came on as a sub for the last 20 mins for those three games).
