It was an interesting observation that makes sense to me and i don't have much time for willy but he struck a good balance last night so credit where it's due
That's because English football and pundits for the English game are fucking dinosaurs, but yes, Willy did very well as he has all season. He's another that Pep has Improved.

Do you not think we were more direct last night for a reason? It's not the first time Pep has used long balls to bypass the opposition's midfield in his career; he did so at Bayern a few times

Espn said last night that willy is better because he takes less risks and the defenders feel more secure and are not inclined to take so many risks themselves, john's brain fart aside
Do you have a link by chance?

I think we should anticipate Boro parking the bus and play two strikers:

I'd go 3 at the back:

---------------------Bravo
---------Stones---Kompany---Kolarov
---------Nolito--Silva---KDB--Sterling
---------Sterling--Kelechi--Aguero

Post CL can be difficult to focus again and recover, but it was a Tuesday, not a Wednesday, and no travel either, and we're at home. 3-0 City

In the past Boro were absolutely our bogey side. Used to do us all the time.

Now Sterling is good, very good in fact.... but....

Maffeo Otamendi Stones Clichy
....,................ Garcia...............
Sane.... DeBryune.... Gundogan.... Nolito
.................,...... Aguero
