City v Bournemouth post match

New players need time to bed in and we have a lot Lads adjusting to the prem but once they do fuck me we will be unstoppable.

Not sure thats true, got a feeling we'll be seeing a few more of these frustrating games. On this form I'm a little worried about us facing the top teams.

Bet you were glad he added time on though. Blue specs off, what did he get drastically wrong ?
Really?

I haven't got all day, just go on the ref thread....

Ake sending off
Cook sending off
Sterling wrongly sent off

There's 3 biggies for you.

Missed 2 red cards for Bournemouth and gave a ridiculous amount of yellow cards out as well as the dismissal of Raz at the end for something many have done without sanction.

Other than that he had a great game.

I think we got out of jail to be honest. We had a 25 minutes spell in the 1st half where we looked really good and Bournemouth looked like they were really struggling to cope with us. I thought the 2nd half would be more of the same but it wasn't.

They scored a wonder goal but had another chance (Defoe) to go 2 up before we got our equaliser and started to look dangerous.

Both sides hit the post.

Overall how the game panned out, A draw would have been a fair result in my opinion but had the ref done his job and sent Ake off, like the rules say, then you'd have thought it would have been a far more comfortable afternoon.

Thought sterling had a poor game but hopefully his two goals that have earned us 4 points will give him a boost in confidence because there's a top player in him.

There's a lot more to come from this team. Last season we started like a steam train, playing well and we all got giddy. I'm happy thinking that there's so much more to come from this squad and hopefully getting into full flow throughout the winter months.

3 points is 3 points and I'll be a happy drunk tonight

Good post

We are sublime in the middle third. Shite when we get to the last third considering the amount of time we spend camped outside of it. Dean was a disgrace today. I am not blaming our performance on him, we need to practice midfield runners entering the box via one twos like Barcelona do.

Liked sane when he came on. If we go 4-3-3 he has to be the left sided forward. He is built for that role. Ederson solid, I think he's going to be a very good goalie. Mendy very good, his crosses are excellent.

Tell you a subtle new one I seem to be spotting regularly now - the wall at free kicks, ours is a firm big 10 yards, whereas when it is the opposition wall it's about 8.
