City v Bournemouth post match

Given Dean's performance, and what he missed and what he pulled people for, absolutely!

He had a shocker.

The FA say they can't look at yellows, well they had no problem looking at Ben Thatcher when the rule book said they couldn't, but will they do that for a reffing decision? Not a bloody chance!

So, we'll have missed two England Intls for 230 minutes for absolutely no reason. And, it will also be used against them AGAIN later in the season if they tot up more cards.

YCMTSU!

More than a shocker CB he was corrupt of that there is no doubt.

Spot on Dax.

If he was corrupt he would make a better job of it.

He did , the idea of a corrupt ref is to ensure those who can do something about removing him from big games don't want to or more to point think differently and to those who know he is can do nothing about it.

Howe even said that's what he was going for in his post match interview.
Bournemouth usually play football. They employed extremely cynical anti-football that you don't expect from them.

Credit to City for fighting to the final moment and to Kun Aguero for showing genuine concern for the City fans.

On the game: we played very poorly in the opening minutes and then very well towards the end of the first half. Bournemouth deliberately destroyed the 2nd half going to ground at every available opportunity. I can't feel sorry for them after their tactics which are what you would expect from a Stoke City.

We still won. If he is corrupt, surely the objective would have been to stop us winning? And he could have done that, by not giving the free kick leading to the goal, or by blowing the final whistle. Giving a red card to a player who has just won the game might demonstrate some conscious or unconscious bias against Sterling but it didnt affect the result, which is surely the main objective of a corrupt official? He's an incompetent ref, likes to be the centre of attention, shares the anti Stering bias of most refs. But corrupt? If he is, he's not doing a very good job.

Some pretty violent tackles from Bournemouth 2nd half. I hope that gets stored in the City players memory banks and we pay them back again in goals at the Etihad.
