City v Bournemouth post match

We still won. If he is corrupt, surely the objective would have been to stop us winning? And he could have done that, by not giving the free kick leading to the goal, or by blowing the final whistle. Giving a red card to a player who has just won the game might demonstrate some conscious or unconscious bias against Sterling but it didnt affect the result, which is surely the main objective of a corrupt official? He's an incompetent ref, likes to be the centre of attention, shares the anti Stering bias of most refs. But corrupt? If he is, he's not doing a very good job.

Oh the one where we took it quickly and Dean brought us back to retake it.

Have to agree. When they played, they played well, but they have a big negative streak in them. Some of the challenges were "industrial," their time wasting (how many times is Dean going to warn the keeper?!) was pathetic, and their only serious tactical threat in the second half was to break up the rhythm of the game, and make it what I think he called "bitty!"

Yes, they had a few chances, but certainly far fewer than we had! Throw in the fact that Ake should have been shown a red in the first half, and they can whine all they like, but they got lucky....until the 97th minute!
Imagine the uproar if Jesus had made the same tackle that Cook made on him

Lack of a clinical finisher up top will continue to be an issue until addressed. However, Pep & fans will have plenty of reasons to feel aggrieved as they have been properly screwed by the officiating. Walker red card, Sterling sending off and lack of red for Aké. Unlucky or singled out?

Lol, we have the better talent, the better manager, a squad squad that cost 10 times theirs to accumulate, and yet you want them to come out and play us straight up?

Some of you guys are hilarious...
Nothing wrong with teams setting up to do a job against a better team, that's sport. But if the team plays outside of the rules then the officials should do their job

Tell your mates on the caf. They think Dean was us the match.
