City v Bournemouth | Rearranged for Tue 20 May 8pm

In my opinion the premier league would make a lot more money fucking off sky tnt and Amazon and basically doing their own subscription streaming app similar to DZAN. If they charged say 10-20 quid per month and if you had a subscription you can basically watch any premier league game of your choice then they’d make a fortune.

Something tells me that somewhere down the line some of the owners of clubs may have a stake in SKY or even worse the government.

It doesn't really matter anyway because it's obvious by now that the only benefit of more money is the slosh bin means more money for the industry and nothing at all for the fans, sorry customers I forgot myself there.

The new TV deal that starts next season is worth £6.7 Billion to them. And that’s just for UK rights. They have 80 other deals with TV companies in different countries and regions around the world. None of them as lucrative as SKY and TNT are paying but they’re certainly not giving any of them away for sweeties.

And they don’t have any outlay. The TV companies have all the expense of broadcasting the games.

That’s a hell of a lot of 10-20 quids per month they’d need to sell to even earn a fraction of that little lot.

I'm not particularly happy about 7pm on a Sunday, but Sky have been showing Monday night games for over 30 years and 7pm on a Sunday is far better than 8pm on a Monday for many fans. Certainly for away fans.
What really pisses me off is that they want to show every game on its own this weekend, but are quite happy to show overlapping games several times a season.

dreadful kick off time, 6 hour round trip on a sunday evening is not very inviting, fuck off the stupid international breaks that no one want would free up 4 saturdays straight away

Fuck off all international friendlies and this new nations league shite, and get back to four-team qualifying groups for major tournaments so only six games are required rather than ten.

I don't think they care look at the rags the way that they have carried on about the Glazers.

Even our own club seems deaf and blind when it comes to us, they do what they want when it want it seems. Don't get me wrong if the club/s would have tried this say 30 years ago it would have been chaos but slowly but surely they have gotten to a stage where they have gotten most if not all of us to sit down and shut up.

That however isn't enough for them they wont be happy until we are replaced with new customers happy to spend in the shop and hotel etc, we have taken our eye off the ball and now you've got more chance of winning spot the ball than acually getting the ivory towers to listen.

What really really disappoints me is the silence from the players, are they all selfish fuckers? These are the ones that we cheer on every matchday where have their voices gone?
A voice from the players?
Gary Neville is the perfect example — very vocal against the Glazer’s, but only once he retired, said nothing about them when being on the payroll….

I meant ours mate but you made the point well, even he accepted some money and leverage from the Glazers when they offered it.

We get asked all the time to support the players, cheer them on when they are playing crap and stay behind and adulate them when the match has finished.

However it feels like it's not a reciprocal arrangement, other than the fans with Stockholm syndrome many feel disconnected and disenfranchised by the club and even the players.

They just need to consider the fans. These type of fixture times should only be for clubs within 100 miles of each other. 4 out of the 10 fixtures that weekend meet that criteria (including a London derby). Simple stuff, you'd think.

Most people already know how to stream every premier league match for free. I can't see many people paying for a streaming service. With a Tv subscription you're paying for the whole package. All the channels, the sports news, different sports etc. That's why it works for me. I'm not going to the Everton game today but I'll be watching it from my amchair free of charge.

Those were the packages the clubs sold to the tv companies. You never hear of any of the club directors complaining, maybe the fans or managers speak out, but it the ones higher up who agreed to it all.

Was just going to say Brentford v Fulham, a game that is not high risk in terms of policing should have been the late game, but as usual, we can’t inconvenience the Cockney’s can we?

Then fight this 7pm Sunday kick off because it’s the continuation of changes that ultimately will lead to games overseas.
Every season another change is brought in, just a small subtle change, they push the boundary just enough for a small number of fans to kick off and for the rest to say “it’s not 1974 anymore” or “doesn’t affect me”. And the more the majority do not disapprove, the more little changes they bring in each season.
So when City v Bournemouth, played in Orlando at midnight UK time is brought in, please do not complain because then it is too late. The time to complain is now.
The PL know fully what their long term plan is and fans have to stop them now from getting there.

Rugby League has already done it. Do you think the PL were not watching?

Better f’kin not be in Orlando, that’s 6 1/2 hours drive for me. Atlanta would be a better choice.
