Not really mate. Arsenal played a total reserve team. We rested key players and replaced them with 30m+ players - agreed some who are shit. I think it's unavoidable we make changes at this time of year but dont think your keeper needs resting and Tosin is miles better than Mangala

Yaya is finished......a fantastic player and deserves to go down as an all time legend and one who single handedly has dragged us through a few seasons and helped us get where we are but he cannot play anymore....finding a replacement for him/his spot in the squad is a must.

Illy was poor fist half but better second...he still doesn't grab games by the scruff of the neck which we need him to do.

Bravo doesn't install confidence in the defenders..that is plainly obvious but he should be credited for the first goal as it was a great pass.

Stones is looking very very rusty.

Mangala is what everyone has always known...a very basic defender....he tries (too hard at times) but he isn't good enough -still don't want JFE though!!!!!!

Bernardo Silva is a bit of an enigma at times but maybe he needs time to settle.

Sterling, KDB worked extremely hard and it just wasn't falling for them at times...sterling was extremely unlucky at the end of the first half but what defending that was!

And yet again the Kun saves the day.....the guy is still world class and he (yet again) has all the doubters looking extremely stupid.

We don't yet have the players to play a false nine system (maybe it would have worked better with David Silva in the team - possibly).

I don't blame Pep at all for that....Bristo are the best team we have faced yet.....the rest of the premiership should be ashamed because if they can come and play like that surely the supposed better teams can

Dreadful performance.
Mangala useless. I hope we get Evans or Maguire instead of this idiot. Absolute liability. Stones looks like he did last season, thats 2 goals he's now cost us in 2 games. Yaya Gundogan and Bernardo very poor too.
Over arrogance cost us tonight and as a consequence we now have to field a full team in the 2nd leg.
Also what has happened to our corners and short range free kicks?
Rubbish.
 
this was Bristols big tie they rested 9 players on saturday,most of the city team played Saturday 3 days isnt long enough to recover properly so you have to compromise the performance and hope for the best
 
Another night, another win, nothing else matters. Gundogan and Mangala were below par, Leroy excellent in the first and mediocre in the second . I am not sure about this shitting on Bernardo, because he was more than decent. Even Yaya looked more energetic than in previous games. Dippers, here we come!
