City v Bristol City 1st leg post match

i dont think playing eddy was anything to do with the dippers on Sunday. I also think Bravo will play in the return leg and rightly so

maybe that's the only one (bravo) who plays in the return leg we must and will play the strongest team at the start and kill the tie off and then bring off KDB aguero and silva we now have had a good luck at them and we must respect them on there own patch and don't take them easy

but its shocking in the media this morning and its little old bristol city hahaha they beat united in the last round and united did not get this much crap about the money team and this player costing multi millions and the squad and bench costs its bollocks and how and why do they keep plugging that dead horse with manchester city when over the road at the scum 2 players cost united £200million alone and nothing is said

I ignore the media bollocks mate, they have to stir the pot to keep in business. We do our talking on the green stuff

I'mnot defending Bravo per se, but anyone who is blaming him for the penalty last night has nothing but hatred for the fella. I agree Eddy is the better keeper but he regularly plays with a well oiled back four.
OK cool I'm not going to argue over someone I've been defending for a year lol. He just gives me the heebie jeebies every time he is near the ball and it doesn't get any better.

We weren't at our fluid best, which was understandable given the changes, but we bossed the game and on another day we would have come away convincing winners. As ever the ref was fucking useless, someone stated it earlier in the thread....but probably the only decision he got right was their penalty.
Stones,Sane and Raz all had obvious claims for fouls that were ignored - In Johns case,a penalty.

KDB is awesome,i thought Silva also did well, but i was most impressed with Zinchenko,he's developing into a very useful player.

Even if he left and was replaced, City aren't going to get a top notch keeper to sit on the bench all season. No club has that for any period of time.

was nice to hear that Pep complemented their manager last night. Bristol were a breath of fresh air compared to what we have had to entertain at the Etihad recently

Does it piss you off if we are referred to as Manchester?

Well done Bristol, was unlucky in the end. Hope they get promoted. Has for City miles off what we can do but got the result that what counts. Will be a little nervous now for the second leg.

cptnemo:- yes we were far from our fluid best, but still ran out worthy winners. now that pep has had a good luck at them, he will not make to many changes for the 2nd leg and keep the changes to a minimum. On another day we could have easily had 4/5 goals to our finial score. Their keeper was stopping most of the shoots that came his way, maybe on another day they would have ended in the back of the net.

Stones has looked very poor the last two matches -- but I guess we are lucky that his first two games back have been against teams we should be beating. I am very nervous about him vs Liverpool in his current form so hopefully this game will have allowed him to shake off the last of his rust.

Probably the worst Mangala performance of the season. He had played fairly well as of late and looked competent with some incisive passing. A major step backwards today.

I think Sane will continue to start because Pep wants true wingers playing, but he probably could do with a little time on the bench.

I'm glad Aguero seems to be firing again after a little bit of a lull. He loves to score vs Liverpool and I think he'll do it again this weekend.
