City v Bristol City 1st leg post match

Stones has looked very poor the last two matches -- but I guess we are lucky that his first two games back have been against teams we should be beating. I am very nervous about him vs Liverpool in his current form so hopefully this game will have allowed him to shake off the last of his rust.

Probably the worst Mangala performance of the season. He had played fairly well as of late and looked competent with some incisive passing. A major step backwards today.

I think Sane will continue to start because Pep wants true wingers playing, but he probably could do with a little time on the bench.

I'm glad Aguero seems to be firing again after a little bit of a lull. He loves to score vs Liverpool and I think he'll do it again this weekend.

Stonesy will be fine with Ota,

first of all huge credit to bristol city. Great performance from them and really pushed us. Huge credit to them. Good to see a team play proper football

Awful performance but the difference is we are winning despite lackluster run outs like that, unlike most other seasons when we got tonked.. Bristol City were great and deserved their plaudits, City will prevail at their place, 100% confident we are going to Wembley for the LC Final..

Cc final:-)

Well you do sound extremely bitter.
Apologies for the gas idiot people. Coming on your forum to spout their drivel shows what a classless bunch our near neighbours are.

As for the game, yes, we lost but we're still in touch and will have a right good go at our place in a couple of weeks, something we would have been more than happy to take before the game.
You are, undoubtedly, still huge favourites but we hoped to still be in the tie at this point and we are so, so far so good.
Loved the Etihad, what a great stadium and the cushioned seats in tier 2 looked great although I never sat down so don't know if they're as comfy as they look.
It was great to see KDB in the flesh, what a player he is, real class!
If you're coming down for the return leg, I hope the powers that be don't shut the M6 AND the M5 as they did last night, we didn't get home until half bleeding 4!
Well done on your victory and we'll see you in a couple of weeks, when we will try to 'bloody your nose' again! ;)

Win is a win doesn’t matter how it came. Think Yaya and Joe Mangle are for he transfer list ASAP though

Also as for their "great fanbase" "great following" etc bullshit. It was a massive game for them. Massive, massive game. We sold our 4000 ticket allocation within a few hours (season ticket holders only) for Stamford Bridge last season in the 2nd round of the EFL Cup (only lost 3-2). We would have took many, many more if we had more tickets or it went past season ticket holders. Even some season ticket holders missed out. Their ground is a fucking library week in, week out so they hd a cheek singing that to you last night and the biggest match at Ashton Gate in a long time and they haven't even sold out (they will now as they are still in the tie).

I don't want to sound bitter as they are doing well on the pitch. But off the pitch they lack class and are fickle, obnoxious ****s. I'll enjoy the hammering in the 2nd leg.

My my,what a bitter little chappy we have here
I suspect Bristol City are everything you wish Rovers to be.
