We should all be very confident about this game, I just want to see us play at our fluent best and the result should take care of itself

bring on aguero after 60 minutes, 4-1.

Would go exactly same way then play Aguero from start against West Ham and give him 60/70 mins, another similar against Watford rest the other guys.

I wouldnt start him v West Ham mate, I'd bring him on too replace Jovetic after 50-60 mins again, we don't need to rush in.

hopefully not to rush but ease in with part games until big ones, Spurs/Chelsea and I will be very happy if you are right for anyone to replace Jovetic after 50/60mins!

Guess who:

"The situation in Manchester has not changed permanently," he said. "We are talking about last year's champions in United and they will be around the top of the league come May.

"The progress at City shows what money does to a football club. When you have got money to invest in the structure and the players. They have got owners who want to be successful."

Our opposition manager tomorrow! 6 points for United from now on, then (if Cardiff even stay up)?

Ffs the rags are one of the richest football clubs in the world, why don't these ***** have the balls to question where all the money is going.

This is in my opinion our best team and we've not bin able to play our best team all season. Early goal and I think we will run riot.

Cardiff fan here, I write a tactical preview to our games and always like to hear the opposition fans views. If you're interested, it's on the link below.

If you can't be bothered to read it, I can sum it up in one word:

Thrashing.

interesting read that mate. Very informative. Thanks.

Very good read mate, some good points ! If I was being really picky I would say it was Negredo that dropped off more than Dzeko, but still good none the less !

Cheers (and thanks to the other commenters too!)

Yes, I didn't really think that was Dzeko's game either but looking at the heat maps surprised me. You can have a play around yourself and draw your own conclusions:

Merson said last week that someday city will get ten against some team, please please let it be tomorrow. " come on you mighty blues. " p.s. remember going to see the mavericks in manchester when the rags got battered and pinched it with that little get scoring off a corner at the death, kept nipping out to watch it on the t.v. when i got back to my seat , the lead singer was putting on a utd shirt. Not a good night.

Very interesting and well-written piece, though I think you're being a tad too self-deprecating. Read the other pieces, too, so is there no immediately discernible change in play under OGS?

This was my most pessimistic preview of the season so far! Your team is good, you know that.

In terms of the starting lineups, there's little difference between Malky and OGS, but there is a bit more urgency to attack. Whether that's the right thing to do or not remains to be seen, I thought we were on the right track to safety under Malky.

Having said that, it's early days for him and we'll learn nothing from the next two PL games at the Etihad and Old Trafford. Cardiff have a better run of fixtures in February, the transfer window will be sorted by then too, so that's when conclusions can be made.
