City v Celtic post match

I've been very diplomatic as I know he's a young lad who needs time to settle in. And he came with high recommendations from respected sources, which surely counts for something. That said, I'm having difficulty believing my own eyes on what we've seen to date.

yup...just got to try and maintain patience with him...he has time but at present it looks like he would be better in the reserves and coming on as a late sub when we are comfortable

Failure to beat a very average team like Celtic in two attempts is extremely poor.

Not seen any signs of the new dawn we were promised with Pep,and our defending is simply awful.

1. You're selling Celtic short here.

2. Nobody, Pep included, said this "new dawn" would be this quick.

3. We made 9 changes from our starting XI and played a bunch of kids, but don't let that ruin your narrative.

Glimpses of great talent in Sane. Beats players with ease, rapid, direct. Needs nurturing, but will develop into a top class player. Reminds me of Bale the way he beats players.

perhaps be more patient, it really is early in his contract

Thirteen arrests so far at City v Celtic. One Celtic fan lifted earlier for throwing a hamburger at a police horse in Piccadilly Gardens.
That burger used to be the horse's mum
