I think Tosin was good but people are glossing over his mistake late where he let the striker run across him onside. If one of our other CBs did that they'd be getting killed on here. Luckily Wily saved the chance.

Doesn't take much away from his performance for me, I'll grade him on a curve. Speaks to how perfect you have to be back there

he's only 19 ? looked pretty good today i thought.

Wasn't aware Nolito had played wingback or fullback but I prefer Sane there to Sterling on this showing yes. Certainly prefer him to Kokarov or Clichy.

well i think id prefer you there to Kolarov!

I did say in my OP that in Sane's defence he is being asked to play in a role that he hasn't played before so there is a mitigating circumstance (i.e. the playing in the wing back role)

I think herein lies the problem....I think Pep is getting that wrong.. we look worse attacking and certainly defensively at present playing this system

Mate you have been a decent poster so far.

This is a City site and thus views will be very pro us and anti you on the whole.

Its looking increasingly like you want the argument when the reality is, most have said your boys played really well and have been honest about the 2 games and results.

I'm not after an argument. If it's coming across that way then it's not my intention.

We respect City and your support.

I agree that the lads in here are predominantly fair in their assessment. We know we are miles away, but, we're giving it a go.

That's all we can hope for as supporters.

Looked as empty as a hermits address book.

So Celtic Park for the last 4 years then? Until the big teams roll up

Enjoy Partick Thistle away this weekend. I'll be thinking of you on Monday as we get our draw for Feb.

Can't wait for Rangers to get their shit together. Honestly it's like trying to decide which drunk Scottish twat I'd rather fuck my wife. At least if I chose the Rangers **** she could abort the pregnancy.

It would be nice if only the 19 year old kid made those kind of fuckups , we could all say 'ah he can learn from the seniors'.

But unfortunately...

Nobody can doubt that your lot will always raise your game against an English side. We used to do it years ago against united - it's the natural thing for small, weaker sides to do so. A game against City is your biggest game of the season. A cup final all on its own if you like.

Being the best side in Scotland is a little like being the best looking guy in the burns unit. In the English league, over the course of a full season, I imagine you'd finish at or just below mid table in our third division. Or to put it another way, Rochdale FC would most likely finish top 1/2/3 in your league over a season.

"Fitba" - its a funny old game.

The mighty Rochdale. Forgot about them.

Boy do I feel stupid.

Ah well. Always next year.

I think it was an absolute stroke of genius which should have won us the game v Chelsea & is doing wonders for Sané allowing him to get on the ball.

It is starting to do my head in when we play wide players and have no-one in the box to recieve an early cross if the wide player beats their man (inside or out).

When I saw the team, I thought we would lose; I had the score 0-2 in my head, so I suppose that I should be happy with a draw.

But considering the chances we missed, I'm feeling disappointed.

On the plus side, I didn't think any of them put in a bad performance and the youngster should take a lot of pride in the shift they did.

Tosin looked very commanding at the centre of the back three, Maffeo did well down the right and Nacho took his goal well.

However, my MotM was right at the other end of the experience scale. I thought Pablo Zabaleta was outstanding and was unlucky not to have an assist.

And considering that there was nothing riding on the result, I was disappointed that Brenda didn't give Kolo at least some time on the pitch to allow us to show our appreciation of his time at Etihad.

Yes, celtic Park for the last four years. We were utter shite. What's your excuse ?

Find it bizarre that people are criticising Sané.

He looks a wonderfully exciting prospect who is almost ready to kick off.

I'm assuming it's a tv thing.

Fantastic to be able to look forward to him & The Baby Jesus in the New Year.

As Mrs Vienna says, once Leroy scores his first goal, his confidence will soar and he will be off.
