City v Chelsea (fa cup. 5 th round ) post match thread

Everyone was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC in that game. My only nag is I wish Clichy got forward a little more during the breaks, but obviously it didn't matter today.

Fantastic performance! Every player played good tonight. Yaya was dominant, Silva resumed his magician status, Kompany was having one of his best in the world type performances, Jovetic was buzzing around constantly, Clichy no qualms, Zaba, Milner and Lescott all solid tonight, Dzeko done a decent job but leaving Garcia till last as I'm not his biggest fan but he was great tonight, showed grit and determination and got stuck in!
How much impact did Nasri make btw? Imagine having Aguero and Fernandinho back soon! Can't wait until we are at full throttle again!

Outstanding performance, can't fault any of them. Garcia was brilliant and Lescott must start on Tuesday,

Don't know if anyones posted these but

Vinny really needs to have a word with Jojo

let him know driving is only acceptable if you play for the Rags we don't dive and City fans don't want divers in our team

Garcia awesome tonight and great to see Samir just picking up where he left off
Absolutely, diving is cheating, hate hate hate it, its for united but never ever for us .

How good was that pass from Silva to Nas. It was stunning and it was City at their best. On a side note there was a clip of Yaya after that tackle from Matic, I was cracking up at him walking, he looked like he was 80 years old....but what a player.

It was an intentionally nasty tackle on his Achilles--I've had it done to me and caught a partial tear. Kept me out for three weeks. I was just happy to see him walking.

Disagree, think it was entirely accidental to be fair to Matic. He looked like he was gonna trip Yaya with his right foot then accidentally collided with his left one instead, don't think the intent was there.

From BBC:

Our man on the Etihad ground Chris Bevan is in Jose Mourinho's post-match press conference. One game journalist has asked the Portuguese if his side have 'failed' him, echoing the words Mourinho used about Wenger a little over 24 hours ago.

"I don't say my team failed, I say City played much better than us, deserved much more than us to win," said Mourinho.

"The situation is simple to analyse: They were the best team, they won.

Where was smugface's tactical genius and mind games tonight!! - His team were sh*t !!! He doesn't have the financial dominance he had at his last stint at Chelsea so we'll see now if he really is the special one - its a much more level playing field now Jose!!

Yep, every time he opens his mouth he opens his bowels simultaneously.
