Great stuff! It's the outcome the nation wanted to see both in terms of setting up a good match against Barcelona, and thwarting the media's love affair with the eye gouger. Also good to see Nasri making a fine return - Garcia too.

How good was that pass from Silva to Nas. It was stunning and it was City at their best. On a side note there was a clip of Yaya after that tackle from Matic, I was cracking up at him walking, he looked like he was 80 years old....but what a player.

It was an intentionally nasty tackle on his Achilles--I've had it done to me and caught a partial tear. Kept me out for three weeks. I was just happy to see him walking.

Disagree, think it was entirely accidental to be fair to Matic. He looked like he was gonna trip Yaya with his right foot then accidentally collided with his left one instead, don't think the intent was there.

Matic got schooled by Yaya today, the reason why Mourinho kept hoping for a ban against him as Yaya controls the midfield..
I think the tackle on Yaya was out of frustration at being beaten by a better player..

Everyone was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC in that game. My only nag is I wish Clichy got forward a little more during the breaks, but obviously it didn't matter today.

He gives us balance though on the left with his better defensive capabilities and pace - we didn't get ripped apart on the counter-attack. I just wish he'd played in the league game!!!!
