I'll have to hold my hand up and say I expected us to lose ( obviously, I hoped otherwise!) after the last 2 performances, but fuck me, if Pellers didn't just out Think Mourinho tonight, every player knew their job, and did it to almost perfection, Garcia being just, everywhere! And Lescott looking as if he'd just won the lottery, oozing confidence, even Dzeko, who often frustrates was pretty good tonight. Pellegrini must have given some team talk.

It wasn't Pellegrini, the tea lady did the team talk today.

Looked to be plenty going on around the east stand south stand corner between fans. Load of Chelsea fans seemed to be pressed up against the segregation trying to get at us.

Think it carried on a bit outside and when we walked past it looked like a couple of people were out of it on the floor just at the junction before Mary D's. Police on horses and an ambulance went to the scene. Hope everyone's ok but it looked bad.

it did look pretty bad yeah, saw plenty of blood on the floor

This might not go down well but it pisses me off when the likes of Mourinho spout shit all week in the press and it winds some people up. Fuelled or not with alcohol and football's a passionate game where people can get whipped into a frenzy of support for their club and go out and smack somebody who then ends up lying face down in the pissing rain on a dark street possibly miles from home while the Mourinho's of this world are blissfully unaware of what goes on around football grounds after some games, do their reports then fuck off to a millionaires lifestyle in some leafy suburb. No doubt football fans should keep their emotions under control but sometimes I look at the way so called professionals act and the words they say and wish to god the powers that be would have a fucking word and tell them to stop the fucking mind games and peddling their hostility towards fellow colleagues in the game and concentrated on their own clubs. I'm not blaming Mourinho et al but I do think they should have more of an understanding and use some common sense before engaging their brain to spout bile and contempt to others. Their is a line to be drawn that a small number of managers should be made to observe.

outstanding performance, gives me a bit more confidence for tuesday, garcia was oustanding same as many others. ctid

Brilliant, brilliant all round performance. The only negative from today was the number of Chelsea supporters who ruined the minute's silence. Not very classy.

Was this singing coming from the concourse though? I get the feeling sometimes that's what happens.

I'd have loved it if Pellegrini had said,''As i obviously made such a mess of it last time i took a leaf out of the maestro's book only i went one better, the tea lady picked the team and did the talk!''

Well done City

Thoroughly deserved and Silva in my view MoM. But can I say I thought both Lescott and Milner were unsung heroes?

I think you won the league tonight........maybe FA Cup as well?

If we get past Liverpool tomorrow, I would be great to meet you guys in the final.

I think that would be a good game between two sides that seek to play attractive football.

Hopefully it won't be the "atractive football" that you seeked to play against the scum the other day.

Everyone played well and we fully deserved our place in the last eight. The only real gripe being the fat muppet with the pop-up toaster approach to card distribution (home players only).
Fat Phil Dowd gave us fuck all as he has done all to often recently.
Back to the match and although we've enjoyed bigger margins of victory, that was one of the most complete team performances of the season. A chav on a general football site was moaning that they couldn't see a win without Terry and Cahill; yeah right you Cockney cock, try being without Aguero and Fernandinho.

GET IN was dreading tonight and the thought of Jose giving it large all week, but never felt they were in the game at all and as easy a 2-0 as you will see :)
will SSN go on about MP the tactical genius all week now ?

Javi Garcia made a big difference tonight. So much better balance in the team from the 1-0 defeat.
