City v Chelsea Post Match Thread

Some of the postmatch comments here were honestly quiet bizarre,we just lost one fmatch after a very impressive run of form which had every one jizzing here and suddenly all the negativity and trash talk creeps in,we could be in the lead again as soon as coming Sat so just relax and move on and ffs have some fucking faith in this team who have made us proud on so many occasions this season, losses are never nice but this came as a timely reminder that were not invincible,so I for one is expecting an even greater fight from the boys for the title now
This^ +1000

thought jovetic showed intensity than some of the starters last night too
he seems to have the right striker attitude.... not afraid not take their defenders on.

Re: jose mourinho you football is sh**e

This is something in this, we should have ignored Mourinho and just supported the team - fancy that.. Singing that just did his ego a world of good too many brain dead fans unfortunately.
It definitely got Chelsea going that song, did it make a difference to the result probably not, but certainly did not help.

They could have an additional points column on the league table for 'song effectiveness', in the unlikely event of a tie on points/goal diff.

He won squat in Europe with RM who are a better team than Chelsea.

My opinion and he has a better side here. Take Tranny out of that Madrid side and they wouldn't have been as potent and this Chelsea side has better balance minus a striker

Take Hazard out of Chelsea and how are they going to create goals?

Oscar, Willian and Schurrle - 80m pounds of attacking talent.

They played the best they have for years while we played one of our worst. That, apart from the injuries to our side was the difference. We need to ignore Mourinho or it will be like the baconface effect all over again.

Well money doesn't mean results as King Kenny will attest to. Chelsea has scored 44 goals - lowest of the top 4 WITH Hazard. And he has played a pivotal role in a large number of those.

Real have Ronaldo, Benzema, Isco, Khadeira, Modric and Bale. Different universe as an offensive unit. Chelsea MAY have a better defence, but it's not nearly as clearcut.

I'm cheerful, once I knew Ferna was out injured I expected nothing from the game so I'd prepared myself for disappointment

I think a majority of the crowd saw that and that's why it was so flat. We knew Maureen would capitalize on this and to his credit he did.
