Chelsea came with their A Team and tactics and executed perfectly. Well done.

I'm still saying it could have been closer or a different story had Silva or Yaya had taken their chances.

I was very impressed with that Matic - seems a power house, maybe their Yaya and Hazard has come on leaps and bounds.

For me it's between us, Chelsea and Arsenal. I may even wager on Chelsea for the CL as long as they get the right draw. People can not dismiss the Mourinho factor - by far still one of the best tacticians in the world and knows how to get results and win trophies

Can't argue it was a master stroke from Mourhino. I was shocked myself when I saw the likes of Oscar not starting, however it all proved part of the genius. Matic and Hazard were a different class, as was Willian. To be honest I thought I would have seen more from Eto'o playing in front of Hazard and Willian, which maybe reflected in the score. Clearly we were missing Serg and Fernandinho but also Nasri. I think it was definitely a mistake on Pelligrini's part picking Demichelis. I seriously don't understand why he opted for him over Milner or even Rodwell. All that said it was a brilliant battle, and at full strength I still reckon we have a far superior squad with a lot more depth with any other team in Europe. Mourinho's mind games shouldn't work!

Whilst we're being superstitious loons, in reality we lost last night because I wasn't in attendance. Our results are highly negatively correlated with my absence - of the last three home league games I've missed we've lost one, drawn one and won one by only a goal. Sorry chaps.

First time we've played a home league game and I've not attended in this years first tram shirt. Couldn't lay my hands on it when rushing to get changed after work before going to the ground.

Fuck timing, his football is shite most of the time. If we didn't have Pellegrini i'd pick Pep Guardiola ahead of Mourinho. No doubt Mourinho is successfull, but I'd hate to watch dull football.
