Taylor is a cheat.

Same story as recent weeks, we don't put the game to bed and the opposition score from every fucking shot they have. Though Sane looked good so I suppose thats a positive!

Its been the same all season. Sunderland equalised, got a late winner ,West ham was hairy before we got the third, let the shit back into the game. Seems we need 3 goal leads as we will always give teams a sniff.

He didn't get it wrong. We were the better team and had the best chances. The set up and formation was perfect. His job is to get the players into the correct positions. He nailed that.

They should have had a man sent off and the ref missed two penalties.

So you're wrong. Deal with it.

Im fine with being wrong but on this occasion i aint...if he had nailed it like you say we would have won

here are some examples......

Both Sane and Navas constantly out of position, getting beat in the first half.....both looked terribly out of their depth playing where they were.

Ottomendi - i said it before the match...go back and check if you want - that him vs costa was a problem cause he dives in....both the first goal and the second goal were caused but him...the second by diving in on/near the half way line and getting beat therefore exposing the entire back line, and on the first he gets caught under the ball/allows costa to get goal side and then he cant get back goal side....no covering defenders anywhere near in sight on either occasions.

Kolarov....agan said it before the start of the match.....he cant cop with defending either players running away form him or at him........second goal (I think) and third goal definitely show this...we have seen it lots of times before...If you are going to leave defenders one on one then fine, but Kolarov is shocking in that situation and that was proved very well today. (and again has been in the past)

Now its Pep asking these players to play this way...He clearly says that he wants hi players to be the bet in one vs ones all over the pitch...thats what he requires.......well none of those mentioned can cope with it. Therefore to continue to ask them to do it is wrong and will lead to further problems.......we could potentially have the same problems vs liverpool and Arsenal and that won't suprise me either unless he changes it.

I don't disagree that Luiz should have been sent off - he should have definitely gone without a doubt and you can argue that with 10 men on the pitch the result could have been different. But it didnt happen. Our defenders cannot cope with playing the way Pep wants them to play (hence why Pep was after the other two defenders in the summer) and that lead to all 3 goals.....chae this and it won't happen...play the way you want to play WHEN you have the players to do it.

The penalties you talk about...the one against cahill would ave been harsh...yes it hits his arm but no way it is intentional and if that is given against us plenty would complain about injustice. The second penalty you talk about I don't know (I presumer you are talking about the sane one int he first half but i never saw a reply of it so I genuinely have no clue about that one)

If you are right about Pep getting it spot on we will win the league by your reckoning....Ill make a bet with you now that we won't, if he doesn't replace the defenders/chage how we are defending

1. He seems to be shouldering most of the blame from people who have a history of not liking his appointment/decisions (like yourself) and others who don't watch the games.

2. We should have won this game, argue all you like, we were the better team.

3. Our away form is solid and we've already won as many away games as we did in all of last season.

4. You can't blame Pep for KDB or Aguero missing sitters, that's on them and them alone.

5. Worst refereeing display I've seen in 30 years.

Just got back from the game dickhead were you there? You've only been here since fucking May so don't pretend you know whether I liked/disliked Pep's appointment.

Lost our heads after their goal but it's a different game without that twat refereeing it. Any other ref and we're walking off at half time 2-0 up against 10 men at a minimum. Can't judge the players for losing their heads at the very end as 90% of us would have.

Missed chances are becoming a big problem.

Chelsea are what Chelsea are...insidious cheats, and the referee was a disgrace but despite all that I think ultimately we were the architects of our own downfall. Bad luck and poor finishing cost us at one end and unprofessional defending at the other.

I have to admit that I'm still not convinced by Bravo yet. He might be good with his feet but with regards to a goalkeeper's primary function ie. stopping goals, the jury is stil out!

We should have been 3-0 up.
Own goal.
Dino went too soon so was offside.
KDB hit the bar from 3m.

So Pep is doing some things right.

Our defence was better than theirs.

Their gk was better than ours.

The ref bottled it with Luis on Aguero.[/QUOTE

This sums it up nicely though as far ref is concerned it was extremely poor - FA has to do something to get better refs with all the money they are making.

It was Bravo's fault Taylor didn't send Luiz off despite going for the card.

It was Bravo's fault Taylor didn't give a pen for a blatant foul.

It was Bravo's fault Otamendi just let Costa bring the ball down to score.

It was Bravo's fault KDB missed from a few yards out.

Get over Joe Hart ffs.

if we don't concede we don't lose simple as that

If that's what we were looking to build, why would we bring in Guardiola ?

We are looking to build an attacking team. If Pep's Barca had missed the chances we do, they would have won fuck all & people would get at their defence just as easily as ours.

Playing this way, we have to finish at least a decent number of our opportunities. Not just guilt edged ones, but half chanfes too. We have the players to do that, but currently they are not doing it.

Is it too simple to say that if you have the possession that we have in almost all our matches, then the main threat to us is the fast counter-attack. And that therefore having at least one speedy defender and a good 1 on 1 keeper is essential?

Fair play to Pep in his interview. Didn't want to talk about Taylors piss poor performance, even though it clearly influenced the game. 3 mistakes cost us three goals, but it could have been so much easier if the ref hadn't bottled it early doors.

Agree on Taylor.

Not won at home since the 17th September says it all for me.

Team not good enough, we have no defence, rely too much on Aguero for goals and Guardiolia is not a patch on Mancini in my book.

Bravo, good god just stand there on your six yard box and let the opposition have the whole goal to aim at - he is useless.

Chelsea are bullies, constantly playing on the edge, and sadly we retaliated.

This will now be classed as Aguero’s 2nd red card this season, which considering the number of time he gets clattered is absolutely ridiculous. Not sure if the additional red card brings an extra game suspension?

However, it doesn’t excuse our soft underbelly, especially as Nolito has been equally guilty on occasions.

Said it quite well - he did not come to change the game in country. That is FA's job to clean the game of such refs.

You ate wrong.

You are looking at the negatives of two players who opened up Chelsea over & over again.

Perfection will not happen. It worked. We missed. So we lost.

Sorry but that is a terrible challenge and deservedly red. Bad day at the office again.

More clumsy than purely vindictive but you know it curtains for him either way.

No where near the worst challenges we have seen in recent years but he had to go unfortunately.

Bit like Murphys law today if it could go wrong it did.

Very disappointing to lose a game so easily when we were in control of up to the De Bruyne miss which changed the game. We won't win many games by spurning so many chances at one end and defending so damn poorly at the other. Not sure how KDB managed to miss that tap in. One thing I am sure of is that Otamendi and Bravo are liabilities and do not deserve to be starting. Bravo is the worse keeper I've seen play for City since Andy Dibble - he's always nowhere near the ball when it goes in. The defence has no confidence in him either. Otamendi just can't defend properly. Argentina must have some awful defenders if he plays for their national team. A word about Aguero - yes you may have been frustrated about the challenge by Luiz in the first half but you also missed THREE gilt edged chances and to get deliberately sent off in stoppage time with the game lost is indefensible. You let your manager, your teammates and the fans down today. You'll be sitting out the next 4 games so you'll have plenty of opportunity to reflect on the stupidity of that tackle on Luiz. We should be looking at a new centre forward to come in next season. As a team we played well just not clinical enough in front of goal (again !). Convinced even more after today that we'll finish 4th this season. Kolarov and Navas played well today. As everyone knows, the ref was totally out of his depth.

Because he should be able to do both

He has to find a way of playing that meets the players at his disposal.....at present we aint got the defenders nor the wide players to play the way he wants
Yes we are missing chances and Im not disagreeing with anyone on that point....BUT people are burying their heads in the sand if they think this is our inly problem

Teams are scoring against us at will use the chances we give up are so easy cause our defenders cannot defend one vs one which is what they are being asked to do.....The attacking free flowing football against certain teams who will come and attack us will fail cause it leaves us so exposed that our defenders cant cope...the only one that can is permanently injured so he either changes it or we will continue to struggle/lose matches against the better teams

and Peps barca was built around a player that yo will rarely see the likes of again in Messi. that makes a huge difference when you have him plus ineista and Xavi.....all 3 ar huge better than there counterparts in the team we have at the moment
