Gutted beyond belief, Christmas ruined for me. I don't usually subscribe to the "luck" card but we were brutally unlucky. Everton are truly a joke of a team, they represent everything that is wrong with English football. And how many handballs does it take before we get a penalty? Nothing short of an Everton defender picking the ball up would do it.

Extremely frustrating game. Lets not get carried away though its not the end of the world

^^^^^^^ doesn't always go the way we want, we have to accept that games like this happen, 28 attempts and thier keeper was MOM for me. We hit the post, should have had at least on penalty ( maybe 3 ). and got caught cold with some basic errors at the back. playing with 10 men after Cahills assault and then they spent the rest of the game just kicking anything that moved.

K toure was poor tonight. And yet again everton turn it on against a big team. Just hope we are comfortably in fourth come the end

Onwards and upwards Blues, we're not top at Christmas, who cares? We started off poorly but improved as the game went on, should've had at least 2 penalties (clear handball by Neville and Balotelli fouled after hitting the post), dreadfully unlucky and their keeper played a blinder. It's just one of those days.
