hehe ....

Reading just scored!

and now united is up 2-1....its the fifteenth minute. We really need to play with that sort of urgency! Whats wrong with US!!!!!

Please don't compare the difference in difficulty in scoring a goal quickly against Reading to scoring against Everton.
We've started slowly all season, not just today. We very rarely get early (first 15-20 minutes). goals these days

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Our lack of firepower at the moment compared to the Rags worries me, they put away an alarming amount of chances although they create less than us

Too many draws, now creeping into home form that we relied heavily on last season. Not good enough.

I should clarify that it's not just the results but the performances that count too. If you keep winning shit it will bite you in the arse eventually. We've not played well enough this season and despite being very resilient and hard to beat we're also making it often very very difficult to win. Our current results multiplied over the season will not win us the title. Think we've become too caught up in the Rags loosing so many so soon to realise they're also winning more and getting more points!
we need to lose a game, fuck records, we are playing with fear, lose the record and then kick on

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

We are not creating enough chances. We are to slow at breaking in midfield, hence the opposition have chance to get behind the ball. We need to shoot/head when we get half a chance, and follow the shot in to mop up any loose ball. Defence was fine today but Yaya looks unfit to me and the game goes on around him. Everton played well however and deserved the result. Would love to see Marouane Fellaini at city. Vincent Kompany back to his best, he will be needed if we play like that next week.

crucial 1 point today

Agreed. Don't forget it's their cup final they'll always be up for the big teams. Glad it's out of the way with our record intact.

Yeh lets lose and let the rags get further ahead. Good idea pal.
Also playing with fear ? How do you work that out. We had them camped in their own half for pretty much the whole of he second half. Yeh we were scared stiff !!!!!

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Its not only us fans who think Everton raise their game when they play us haha Mancini mentions it in his post match interview

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Those who booed Mancini's substitutions today are fucking stupid twats. that's all.

agree but in the end it ended up being the wrong move. Fans are paying customers and allowed to have a voice. Tevez was our best player before being pulled off.

Agreed.

Dzeko was running his heart out and was our most threatening player. Tevez did nothing, hardly won a header, wouldn't shoot and got bullied by Osman
