City v Everton Post Match Discussion

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Another game we need 45 minutes to warm up.

I still believe our hardcore fans are around the 38,000 mark, the rest come to boo at any opportunity and fcuk off home with 5 minutes to play.

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Was just looking at the Sky player ratings. Nasri is a 5. The lowest of any starters on either team. I don't understand how they could think that. Dude ran miles, and he was involved in pretty much anything positive, and nobody could get the ball off of him. I thought he was our best player.

I feel like it's trendy or something for the media to slant Nasri. I feel like he contributes positively game after game, and does a lot to keep us ticking, instead of giving it away so much like many other players. But yet consistently gets no credit for any of it.

We thumped them in this fixture last year, and the two scorers were both subs.

But don't let reality get in the way of a good spanking.

Mancini vs Moyes

Won 1
Drawn 1
Lost 5

But don't let reality get in the way of a good delusion.

Yep Mancini 1 Premier League 1 F.A Cup 1 Charity Shield

They involved more than just matches against Moyes and Everton... He pointed out Moyes does well against Mancini, not that he's a better manager.

Anyway, back to the result. We yet again didn't play well but this time it was at home, I wholeheartedly feel we are due a spanking and it just happens to be the scum up next. This match will be defining for our season, will be step up to the challenge or get raped.

He holds the ball for too long then puts his team mates under pressure Kompany and Tevez were our best imo

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Also another game we have close to 60% of the ball yet conceed 18 of the 30 fouls. We always seem to have a 50% increase in free kicks awarded against us than for us.
Saying that though we just do not show up in the 1st half. Think thats 3 goals in 8 games now in the 1st half, 1 from a penalty.
For some reason we just do not look like scoring despite having the talent on the pitch

Re: Cty v Everton Post Match Discussion

Just got home, it was a hard game but I'm bemused at our complete lack of ideas. For a team with so much investment we should be creating far more chances and the same fixtures every year cause the same problems.

From my live viewpoint Dzeko was truly abysmal again while Yaya wasn't far behind, but I thought Nasri and Maicon played well.

He holds the ball for just long enough to commit one or multiple defenders and then dumps it off, which leaves his teammate with way more space. Players like Barry, our fullbacks, and even our forwards sometimes could really learn from that.

hehe ....

Reading just scored!

and now united is up 2-1....its the fifteenth minute. We really need to play with that sort of urgency! Whats wrong with US!!!!!

Please don't compare the difference in difficulty in scoring a goal quickly against Reading to scoring against Everton.

To be fair. He holds the ball as there isn't too much movement from our other forward players.

Nasri was one of our better players today.
