City v Everton post match

You can't miss 2 penalties and expect to win.

Aguero woefully out of form

Bravo should have done better
Very harsh on Bravo—Clichy was well beaten and out of position to help him on the near post so he had to close the angle there and force a good finish out of Lukaku (which, unfortunately, he conjured). Had he stepped even slightly more to the far post and it would have been a slide rule pass to the near post for an even easier finish.

we played some decent football but when you miss two penalties you cant complain about the result

really surprised how everton played....came with a small time team attitude playing 11 men behind the ball....thought they were better than that but obviously not...shame football didnt beat the anti football approach today but cant win them all and we ar going o come up against loads of teams that park the bus and hit us on the break...Im just surprised that Everton did it

well, we can dress this up as much as we want but this is now the 3rd game we've been poor.....I think we still have big problems in this squad that were not sorted out in the summer....teams have started to read our game plan and we arent helping ourselves with missed pens and not taking our chances.....hope this gets sorted soon!

Post game comments from Hislop:
"there may be a blueprint that if you come at City they are not as good as we thought they were and teams wont be as scared as they were at the start of the season"

Sorry but in what way did they come at us? They parked the bus and countered very rarely.

We deserved the win, they couldn't get out of their own half for the majority of the game and it's not often we will miss two penalties in the same game and the way they wasted time as soon as we equalized(20mins of it was frustrating) says it all.
