even with kun fit id start Kelechi

shouldn't be any need to risk Kun and with a strong team behind him kelechi should be ok....

think MP will go with Bony as he doesn't seem to fancy putting kelechi in on his own and if we went with both I'm not sure it would be the best idea with he way our midfield plays with one less man

Id go

Caballero

Sagna MDM Otto Clichy

ferna yaya delph
of him
KDB KELECHI STERLING

Not sure we need to risk silva but could have him in there instead of sterling

Think he will play merlin as he has to get some more minutes having been out so long. He shouldn't play 90 but I would expect Manuel to want at least an hr out of him

Didn't Pellegrini say that, since he hadn't suffered a muscle injury, it wouldn't take quite as long to bring him back?

But I think its more likely to be 45 mins tomorrow, 60 mins at Stoke.

1. This game is not going to be easy ... although on paper this was the weakest you could draw, but then that's exactly been our issue where we think we just need to turn up to win ...

2. What's with the ticket sales? Why are people staying away? It's a Quarter Final ffs and priced very reasonably at that ...

3. Pellegrini will pick the strongest possible XI as he has always done from the day he arrived, that was the reason this was the first pot he won with us ... it depends then on those XI to also turn up ... whenever we have failed, we have simply failed because our players didn't put a shift in and thought the opposition should just roll over ... Newcastle had come with kids and we had our strongest side out and still lost so it's not up to Pellers on who to put out there but whoever he puts out will need to play for full 90 mins to win it.

4. Aguero is out for Stoke and Gladbach both (and of course for this Hull game, but then he wasn't ever gonna start in this one anyway) ... Now up to Pellers whether he saves Bony for Stoke and Gladbach and starts Nacho or wants Bony to get some game time and some confidence ahead of those two ... let's see how it goes. But Bony so far has been much worse than Dzeko ever was for us. I have a feeling he might go 4-4-2 again and will start them both.

5. Whatever happens, no more injuries please!

1. we treat some premiership teams with disdain , so Hull will be no different , players like yaya and kolarov dont put a shift in against lower ranked teams
2. its 4 weeks before xmas , the forecast is shit , pissing down all night, traffic is a nightmare for evening kick offs , and its Hull City not Barca , but we will still have the biggest crowd of the quarter finals ,and we will definitely have a bigger crowd than the Rags :) , i will be in the east stand block 201 , out of the rain , (anyone with any sense will beat at home in front of the fire listening on the radio and saving up for xmas)
3. he wont risk silva or aguero , but otherwise expect a strong team
4. Bullshit , Aguero is fit , your just scare mongering
5. we have had at least 6 players unavailable for every game , can't see that improving , as one returns , another gets injured , our players are dropping like flies our players at the moment

Some of our better results were when we played Milner as a false 9 in the run up to new year. It all went tits up when we got a striker back. I think I'd rather use De Bruyne or Sterling as a false 9 - even Nacho - than Bony up front. I backed Bony for many months but this fella is an imposter to the chap Swansea had.

I think you should have a look at the results in the games which Bony has started.

This is the team I think Pellers will select:

Willy
Sagna
Demichelis
Otamendi
Clichy
Fernando
Delph
Navas
Silva
Sterling
Bony

Bench: Wright, Kolarov, Yaya, Fernandinho, KDB, Iheanacho, Aguero

Mild and dry forecast for Tuesday night. I don't think I could have stood another soaking after Saturday.
