City v Hull - pre-match thread

Part of me would love to see KDB, Silva and Aguero tonight but I also can't wait to see them play together at the weekend so I probably wouldn't risk it. Pellegrini will go with a strong team though especially as we are near the business end of the competition. Just hoping for a comfortable win and no injuries.

I fully expect Clichy and Sagna (our more defensive fullbacks) to play and Silva to start, we'll play more through the middle, and Pellegrini will top it off by playing Bony upfront who will suffer another frustrating night, offering absolutely nothing to the team because we give him no service from the wings.

Don't think it has anything to do with where the service comes from, Bony reminds me of Torres at Chelsea, neither had any idea what was expected of them and had no idea where to run.....

I'd still expect Pelli to start him over Nacho as that's how Pelli operates and I suppose as we fucked up the CL squad he needs game time.

Really want a result tonight, Wembley is just around the corner.

Why don't we start Maffeo ?

I rate him higher than any EDS player and he is good enough to start against Hull.

I wouldn't risk Silva starting. Bony up front with Nacho behind him as Pellers doesn't see him as a striker. Silva on for nacho around min 65. We should not do our usual trick of underestimating lesser teams but I wouldn't mind seeing Roberts and a younger defender start as well.

Aguero and kdb should be rested tonight ESP aguero wouldn't risk him. Nacho hopefully gets a start with bony.. Delph also gets another run out he's been good since he's come back.

Really should be resting Sagna, can't afford to risk another injury if Zabs is out. Maffeo can surely do a job there.
