For me, we need to protect a few senior players. Sagna, Kolarov, Fernaninho and De Bruyne could do with a rest.

...........Willy.......
Maffeo..Tosin.Otamendi.Clichy
........Delph..Fernando.........
Navas....Iheanacho...Sterling
..............Bony................

GUNN,
Kolarov
Demichellis
Ya Ya,
Roberts
Silva
Bryan

I imagine how strong we go will depend on how far away the likes of Zabaleta, Mangala and Kompany are away from fitness.

There is literally no chance that Pellegrini is going to give two academy defenders their full senior debuts in a cup quarter final.

Definatley 0 chance for Tosin anyway, Unlikely to see nacho start either me thinks :/ Maffeo probably has the best chance of starting. I notice a lot of people want Gunn on the bench, let Richard Wright have his moment people! :P

This competition represents an excellent chance for us to win a trophy. Looking at whos out already this is a winnable comp for us, and given we haven't exactly piled up the Cups over the years we have no right to treat it with anything but respect.

Lets please remember the bollocks of it we made against Wigan, Middlesbrough and Newcastle Reserves on our patch, pissing away great chances to win things, and apply ourselves properly and win this tie; dropping meekly out of the domestic cups collapsed our season last year. Pick a sensible team and lets get right at them and start fast like we did on Saturday please. Do not give them any glimmer - its also against the Elephant Man ffs so do we need any more motivation?

Willy Catchit

Sagna (no other fit right back)
Otamendi
Demichelis (no other fit centre halves)
Clichy

Fernando
Snake

Navas
Ya Ya
Silva

Bony (not who Id select but Pellegrini will)

Bench
Wright
Kolarov
Fernandinho
KDB
Sterling
Iheanacho
Kean Bryan

I see this as being pretty much a full strength side. He's shown already that with a bigger/better squad he's not going to play shit teams just for the sake of it. We've got knocked out of several domestic cups ver the last two seasons because of that and he won't take the risk again.

My team would be

......................................Caballero

Sagna.................Otamendi............De Michelis.............Clichy

........................Fernando.............Delph.

........Navas.....................Silva......................Sterling

..................................Aguero

I'm resting De Bruyne, Yaya and Fernandiho as all have played a lot of games .

I saw the injury but after the manager's comments assumed it was just a kick/bruise injury. I can't believe our injury problems. So frustrating, especially as he takes half a dozen games to get going.

Anyone know if Premium seat cards are activated for this one, can't get through on the phone.....sure this is the last one?

Some of our better results were when we played Milner as a false 9 in the run up to new year. It all went tits up when we got a striker back. I think I'd rather use De Bruyne or Sterling as a false 9 - even Nacho - than Bony up front. I backed Bony for many months but this fella is an imposter to the chap Swansea had.

I like Bony and think he will come good with goals and form. I certainly don't want Nacho (who's a way off ready) or the False 9.

The thing about Bony is that he provides us with an outlet ball, although that works better in beigger games (like Sevilla) where teams are bombing onto us.

even with kun fit id start Kelechi

shouldn't be any need to risk Kun and with a strong team behind him kelechi should be ok....

think MP will go with Bony as he doesn't seem to fancy putting kelechi in on his own and if we went with both I'm not sure it would be the best idea with he way our midfield plays with one less man

Id go

Caballero

Sagna MDM Otto Clichy

ferna yaya delph

KDB KELECHI STERLING

Not sure we need to risk silva but could have him in there instead of sterling
