Its not the nil nil scoreline that angers me its the negative & clueless comments that the idiots make on here......and they grade themselves City fans.............try and latch on to some other club, morons

Brand new fan disease with a lot of them Deek.....

Just because people aren't happy with todays result doesn't mean they are any less of a fan than you two. If they are CIty fans they aren't happy they can say THEY AREN'T HAPPY.

But i thought we were very good defensively today and were unlucky not to win.
If Walton opened his fucking eyes he would have seen that adebayor was fouledi n the box and we should have had a pen.
Well done Zabaleta who was MOTM today.

Villa clawed back to within a point of us so if we don't win our game in hand we've fucked it up once again. Fucking twats.
martin oneil hasn't won a game in charge of villa in march for either 3 or 4 years, don't think you guys have to worry about villa. spurs are spurs, so they'll crumble, it's between you & liverpool for 4th, maybe that's why this game was such a tentative 1. neither team wanted to lose ground to the other.

Defense looked very solid for a change - I was never really afraid that Liverpool would score. Under Hughes, and recently under Mancini, every opposition attack looked like it it would end in disaster.

Zab read the game really well, Barry battled hard, as did Ade (for a change). Without having any one player who could make a difference (like Ireland last year, or Tevez this year), we were definitely the better team, and had the ref given us a penalty for that blatant push on Ade, we'd have won and I bet there'd be 90% fewer negative comments on here.

Johnson lost the ball a lot, but he had two or even three defenders on him as soon as he got the ball. The question I have, only being able to see the game on TV, is where was his support when he was outnumbered? Surely if there are three men on Johnson, we should have the numerical advantage somewhere else on the pitch.

If we get Tevez back in time, and defend like that at Chelsea, you never know.....

We defended really well today actually. It will all come together when we get Tevez back.

Toure has competition for his place. Kompany is a really solid centre back.

I for one enjoyed it, a proper mans game, some very decent defending and some solid midfield play.

Ok it wasn't a play station, premier league, pop corn 4 3 but that game could have gone either way and there was some excellent defensive play.

Far far better game than much of the pap recently

this. thought we were good today, defence was solid, very impressed with Zab, lescott & kompany. Will always take a point against liverpool. Just because its 0-0 doesnt mean its a crap game, thought our tactics were spot on today, we just made too many single errors as did liverpool.

Tactics would have been spot on if anyone actually showed a bit of ambition to get forward and support the attackers when we had numerous chances to hit them on the break. The defensive work was quite impressive and everyone did seem to put in the work to get behind the ball when we lost it but if we are going to concede territory like that then surely the game plan is to then try and break with speed when we win the ball back? All day long we won the ball and then got it forward quickly but the attackers were just becoming isolated and crowded out by the dippers defenders.
Is this the manager being over cautious and telling players to hold back or is it simply a lack of desire on the part of the players? Whichever it is it leads to shite boring football which will get us nowhere very fast

we don't have a game in hand over villa, and i can't see any signs of spurs crumbling just yet

i can't remember 4 teams so evenly matched fighting for that last champs league spot, and wouldn't rule any of the 4 out at this stage

we're in a real scrap here, 6 yellows for the dippers shows that they know that, i just hope we're good enough to string some wins together, beats scrambling towards mid table safety though, bring it on, and come on you blues
