City v Liverpool |Official Matchday thread |21st | 15:00

Going for a 3-1 win.

I'd like us to play 3 at the back today so we can hopefully control pool's strongest area the midfield with 5 as upfront Ngog isn't that hot (prob get a hat trick now).

It's snow joke, this weather...

COME ON CITY!!!!
No secret that we have been poor last 4prem games, still managed 7points though.
Lets put that bad patch behind us with a win today.

liverpool are a poor poor side, if we dont beat them we dont deserve top 4 !
Yeah that's why they're 5th and you must have noticed that they are now very difficult to beat

Man City will be without both Carlos Tevez & Patrick Vieira for today's clash with Liverpool.

Tevez is absent through family reasons and Vieira is serving a 3 match suspension for stomping on Glenn Whelan.

Martin Petrov is also absent through a knee injury and Vincent Kompany is a doubt with a groin problem.

Yossi Benayoun faces a late fitness assessment to judge whether he will be available for the game at Eastlands.

With Glen Johnson & Fernando Torres expected to be unavailable, Liverpool hope the Israeli will pull through.

Sotiris Kyrgiakos is suspended after being sent off against Everton.

Referee: Peter Walton.
