CITY v Liverpool: Post Match Discussion

milner had a good game, again, the ref was dogshit and scouse are a dirty side. good point earned the hard way, good game to boot.

Anyone who thinks this was a point won needs to book an appointment at the doctors. We are now a top side, possibly in the top three in the world, and the only thing we lack is a winning attitude ( fans included ). Roberto Mancini has gone up in my opinion, he went to Anfield to win, he went to Munich to win and he went to Naples to win. We did not win any of those games but what we did was set a new standard for ourselves. Think about that we are now actually going to Bayern Munich and Liverpool to WIN. It's a massive change in attitude, perhaps not for Mancini but certainly for most of us as fans. Great, great times for us blues.

City against counter-attacking football

I thought we looked just as vulnerable to the quick counter today as we did against Napoli. Loads of giveaways in the final 3rd and acres of space for the other team. Today at least our fullbacks recovered but I thought central midfield didn't. We've tried both De Jong and Barry with Milner and Yaya, but nothing seems to help. Against Napoli it was Dzeko and Mario, today it was Nasri and Aguero, again neither setup seems to help.

What would you do transfer or strategy wise to stop this? This is not a player slagging thread considering we've looked vulnerable to this strategy no matter who plays.

Poor day at the office that, very glad of the point at the end, but we should be putting Liverpool to bed. Conceded too soon after scoring which gave them plenty of momentum.

Very frustrating all in all

I think if we mirror our results so far we will finish on 108 points ( i think ???) god i'm confused 103 ??

Go and have a lie down.

A points a decent result considering midweek game and Balo's red card. Hart was outstanding and saved us from defeat but i have to give Lescott a mention. Apart from the unlucky deflection he was solid and made some great tackles.
