City v Liverpool Post Match Thread

Knew they'd be the hardest team we'd face this season and I'd be over the moon if we can come back with a point from Anfield. Wasn't entirely sure we had that sort of performance in us under Pellegrini though so the ability to get the three points without needing to score six shouldn't be underestimated at all. That will happen again this season without a doubt.

They need to get rid of Skrtel though. As soon as he starts getting properly called on his 'tactics' he's fucked.

Thought a good few players were off their usual standard and we're lucky it was Suarez to Sterling and not the other way round for that sitter. This centre back constantly charging into midfield tactic smacks of trying to be too clever. Navas MOTM.

The rags have been winning like this for years.. so I don't mind having some of the luck and decisions that went for them for 20 odd years...

It does show that with a january window we could use a pacy midfielder who can get back. A mobile central defender is a must .Lescott was embarrassing and looked like he was auditioning for dancing on ice...

How sweet would it be in L'pool beat out the Rags for 4th!!! LOL!!!

L'pool were very good today and gave us a stern test. the thing I love about this team and today is when we get punched in the face, we punch back. I dont know how many times we conceded this season and we came back and scored in less than 10 minutes.

Roll on to Saturday. Tough for the players but its tough for every team....
