It's wonderful isn't it?
You see, this is the difference between us and the Red Scouse. As City fans when we lose we are able to see what our team did wrong in the match and fault our own players instead of fucking blaming and finding excuses as to why we lost.

Your delusional if you think that's the case.

Your lot aren't any better than anybody else. It's human nature and that's why you see every single set of supporters behaving in the same way. I'm quite surprised at the amount of sanctimonious hypocrites I've encountered on this forum since joining. Suppose it is the holidays and I remember behaving in a similar manner when I was a child who lacked perspective and introspection as well.

Why don't you hold your fucking hands up and say that you lost fair and square then? How about some of your thoughts about the three times skirtel could have conceded a penalty dragging Kompany down. How about suarez not receiving a second yellow for diving in the area? How about rogers implying that the ref has cheated because he's from Greater Manchester?
Better yet, how about you fuck off to your own shitty fucking site.

This big success thing you City fans have now must be such a nice surprise.

No one I knows begrudges you it, frankly, having to endure so many years of relative lack of success, lower divisions and the in your face gall seeing your Salford neighbours run rampant, it's nice to know that you can now make good all that hardship and if that means sticking it to your neighbours, so be it, God knows they had it coming.

However, might you recognise that the fans of other big clubs really don't have that much of a problem with your success?

Obviously, we'd all like to be top dog but for now, no one, other than manc fans, really hates you.

In other words, get used to it (I.e. your success....you will win the title) and don't overreact to perceived criticism, whether intended or more likely not?

Thanks for the advice, but we've had no shortage of it from opposition supporters over the years on here.

Its comforting just how willing they are to educate us blues all the time.

I would however suggest the idea that we are hated by rags only is a load of shite. Do I care? Not one fucking bit.

Fair do's, Gillespie. I think we're all just a bit amazed (and wound up) by the sheer volume of bad faith that's come back at us in the wake of two deserved victories, first against Arsenal, now against Liverpool.

Just because you type very articulately, does not mean that what you type is correct. You're wrong and bitter. The best team won. Now naff off.
You may have missed something......[/quo

Oh yeah. In my anger I forgot to quote that LFC fan who spouted the rubbish about his team should have won in a post half the length of War and Peace.

That is what I always say. Apparently we have sold our souls. What exactly is the difference between our rich, foreign owners with zero previous interest in our club and that of Chelsea, Arsenal, United, Liverpool etc? Is the only difference the fact that ours spends money? Or is it because they're Arabs?
No it's because they grew their clubs "organically" - that is to say fixed the financial rules in their favour.

what they basically did was get their mates to give them a tenner rather than ask their mum.

still spend it as they want even though in reality they're actually less entitled to it.
Good analogy JMW.

Their capacity for Doublethink in relation to this really is a sight to behold. They seem to operate a collective form of denial of the fact that they stacked the cards in their favour hoping to lord it over the likes of us in perpetuity, with a big "fuck you" to the rest of football thrown into the mix for good measure and then refer to it as "organically" growing their club.

We used to be a bit of a joke to them and now they can't contain their bile. It's wonderful to watch.

I don't seek their approval. In fact I quite like the taste of their tears and furthermore, I reckon I could get quite used to it.

I'm not suggesting that there aren't some inadequates who might despise your success out of jealousy but mainly that really isn't the case for most fans.

I'd much prefer you guys win it rather than Salford or Chelsea. For the same reason, I wouldn't mind Liverpool win it. Even Everton.

It's not good for one team to dominate so much.

I do hate Man Yoo, though, not for their success but for their previous graceless oaf of a manager.

You make a very good point to be fair. Any dissenting voices about City ruining football since the ADUG takeover seem to be almost exclusively confined to a tiny minority on the internet. The Liverpool fans I know don't have an issue with it. Indeed, almost all the United fans I know don't complain about it either - sure, they don't like us doing well but they don't bang on about our spending either. RAWK has thousands upon thousands of members but you can pretty much count on the fingers of one hand the number of LFC fans on there that are bitter about what City are doing. Most true fans of all clubs are far more arsed about what their own clubs are doing rather than getting hung up on what's happening at City.

I'd focus solely on the 6 points

Everything else is just noise. Which is kind of my point.
