Many other instances but the 81 League Cup is a painful memory. Also, Dzeko fouled at home last season and Scousers score. Also, remember the game at Anfield when we were going to get a result and the ref let a 2 footed leg breaker from Razor Ruddock go that led to a Liverpool goal.

Not forgetting George Courtney failing to send off Gary Ablett for a professional foul on Clive Allen.

and don`t forget

TBF the ref didn't see it

Tried being fair and play nice so far on this thread but no more.

Show no fucking mercy blues and rub it in at every opportunity.

We need to stick a nice big fat bid in for the diving vampire just to ram home the difference and superiority we have now ;-)

Rodgers has proved himself to be a complete Mard arse. His deluded comments about showing Liverpool respect by playing one upfront started the nonsense. Nothing to do with respect, this was due to player availability.
The histrionics over Lee Mason were just pathetic, he should have a chat with Kenny Dalglish
Mason was the ref who awarded the pen to Liverpool in the Carling Cup against us couple of years ago at the Etihad, not much sign of home town bias there.
To describe someone from Bolton as being a Manchester lad shows Rodgers up completely as a tool.
I liked him as a manager and sensible guy before this game but he's dropped down in my estimation considerably. Too Benitez like for me.

Brendan Rogers - Take a look

League Cup semi-final 1st leg 11th January 2012 referee Lee Mason:

And to compound matters 14 days later we get this (not the best quality):

Somebody should tell him that it is swings and roundabouts with refereeing decisions.

I will agree that Liverpool were excellent and might feel they deserved something for their efforts, but there was no hiding the fact that we were the better team and should have scored more goals.

Re: Brendan Rogers - Take a look

It's the media bias that gets you, I can understand managers/players being passionate. We have had games with 3 decisions like that, nothing said.

Re: Brendan Rogers - Take a look

As much as I detest managers moaning about decisions, its fair to point out that he is doing nothing more than deflect any criticism away from his players after a defeat and the vast majority of managers all do the same.

What fucks me off on this occasion is the sheer hypocrisy on show regards the pulling of shirts and the demands for penalties when his own player was guilty of the exact same offence on virtually every set piece in the game yet we don't hear a peep.

He misses the obvious point that any 'Manchester' ref may support Scum.
