Can't wait for Wed. Think I'll give the meet and greet a swerve Tues But if any players turn up in the Hatter tomow I will prob be in there haha

That section of W42nd is a zoo at the best of times, add in the rush hour timing and it's likely best avoided. I've heard of a few visiting Blues being in The Hatter tomorrow.

Nice simple song for the Loonypool game in NYC & at the Etihad.

You are the runners-up. Tra la la la la.
You are the runners-up. Tra la la la la la.
You are the runners-up. Tra la la la la.
You thought you'd won it then you fucked it up.
This!! All over it.

I'm about to land in NYC as we speak, I'm on in-flight wifi, to summarise what I've skimmed through in this long thread:

Mad Hatter seems the best option to meet fellow blues for a prematch drink yeah? What sort of time are people planning on getting there? Was talk of a coach ever resolved or will we be on the subway?

Anyone also planning a drink closer to the stadium? Would be awesome to see blues take over one of the shit bars nearby like Yankee Tavern or Stan's and run amok, but given the amount of Liverpool fans in places like NYC guessing it's unlikely.

Am I the only one crazy enough to double up on the day and going to be decked out in city colours at the Mets game Wednesday afternoon? Haha

Anyhow in amongst all the Manc and American accents at Mad Hatter or in the city section, if you hear an Australian one, that's almost certainly me! I'll also be seen over the next 4 nights in places like east village and Greenwich village chatting among the girls who seem fascinated by any accent outside of the Americas, of which in my experience in NYC, there are many.
Down in the the Village it won't be girls who'll be fascinated, even though some will look like them.

"You thought you'd won the league again, you'd not, you'd not,
You thought you were the Champions you're not, you're not,
coz Stevie Gerrard slipped on his arse; and passed the ball to Demba Ba,
MCFC Champions again"
==================

"We are the Champions, tra la,la,la,la
We are the champions, tra, la, la, la, la, la
We are the Champions, tra, la,la,la,la
We're the best football team in the land... Yes we are!

"Put the roof back on your bus, tra,la,la,la,la
Put the roof back on your bus, tra,la,la,la,la, la
Put the roof back on your bus, tra,la,la,la,la
coz you're not gonna need it anymore.. anymore"

City supporters were well outnumbered by Chelsea fans (mostly bandwagon) at last year's match at Yankee Stadium, expect the same with the Scouse this time. But maybe the MCFC promotions people will get their act together and give out thousands of free City shirts the way Chelsea did with theirs.

I remember; we were heavily outnumbered on the day. I seem to think it was scarves that Chelski were giving away though, not shirts? They all had Chelsea scarves as I recall.

Could be wrong though; I had a few that day...

Either way, enjoy it. I will be out of the country unfortunately.

Yeah last year was awful, heavily outnumbered......and Chelski gave out flags that day

I am going to be in the area around 5:00 or so for the game, I need exchange the dipper scarves they sent me for City ones, I bought the fan packs, and the location is at some place called The Dugout- 880 River Ave Bronx, NY 10451, guessing it is a bar as well.

Just had a cheeky look on RAWK, to see what they were thinking about this match. Below is the first post in the thread, after the OP opened it up for discussion. The FIRST post:

Good chance to injure City's key players, couple of cheeky kicks here and there ;D

And you know what? No-one, not a soul, has pulled him up on it. What a completely classless bunch of wankers they are. Genuinely I think I despise them more than the scum these days.

Someone else chips in with

Ah let's hope City end up with a few nasty breaks then.

As it stands the rags and dippers are joint top twats. Never did i think a day would come where utd were challenged in the wankers league.
Van Gaal just slated his own player so liverpool just edge it atm but that can change at any time.

If they do not get a top striker they will struggle to stay top 4 this season.

After last seasons circus,I despise the cvnts, not quite as much as the Rags however, they,of course......will always have a special place.

I think Arsenal are next on my list.
