City v PL | Legal Dispute/Appeal

Because the fact we are appealing the decision indicates we have been found guilty by the small court. It is safe to assume it is to do with the FFP investigation the premier league started last year in 2020 the dates match up on the document.

Perhaps, but guilty of what? If they've been digging around the accounts it could be anything from full blown fraud to Txiki forgetting to submit a receipt for his lunchtime sandwich on expenses.

Pep doesn’t give off ‘something else in the background’ type vibes at the moment, and surely he’d know about this. No giddy subtle hints from anyone in the media either.

Usually knows his stuff.

It seems unlikely that the PL would rush through its disciplinary process based on UEFA's decision when it knew we were going up to CAS?

I suspect that the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings has not yet been decided and that this is the equivalent of CAS 1, we're trying to nip the process in the bud based on flaws within it.

Unfortunately, the Court of appeal moves slower than CAS as there are many more cases for the Judges to get through.
