I'd be reluctant to see Vinny just jump straight back into the team after winning all 3 of our games since the derby without him. However he is our captain and when on form our best CB by a mile so he'll undoubtedly feature. If he does, then it has to be in place of Demichelis and not Mangala. We need to start thinking to next season and give these two as many minutes together as possible.

Stop thinking rationally. Pellegrini is still our manager, It will be Kompany and MDM. And whilst he's at it he will probably bring in Sagna, he's not had a game for a few weeks, equal squad rotation comes before form and a settled back 4.

expecting Bony to play with Aguero and i think kelechi should be on the bench ahead of Dzeko and Jovetic. Both are surely heading out in the summer anyway, give the kid a cameo and give him a chance to stake his claim for a regular first team spot next year.

Hopefully he sticks with the same side as Spurs, maybe Bony for Fernando.

Manuel will tinker with the back four - it's what he does

Should have been called 'The Tinkerer' rather than 'The Engineer'

---------------------Hart----------------------
Zaba-Demichelis-Mangala-Kolarov
Navas-----Dinho---Milner--------Silva
Aguero---Bony

Subs:
Willy
Clichy
Kompany - Not sure what the status on his injury is but demi and manga are playing well so not point risking
Fernando
Iheanacho
Pozo
Jovetic

Not included:
Sagna - Need attacking options on bench
Dzeko - Choose jovetic as atleast he will try
Lampard - We have to look at the future
Toure - Had enough, doesnt care anymore and leaving anyway so might aswell give a chance to someone who is less talented but actually cares about the club

however i bet we go for a nando-toure midfield with no youth on the bench...

Just want us to win convincingly for a change, without a keystone cop style defence and our forwards putting every chance away(or at least making the keeper save it dramatically)

Personally don't think Kompany should play again this season.

There's only 3 games left so he can recharge his batteries for next season.

This. I dont see the point in pissing about with the defence again for the sake of 3 very winnable games that we have left. The back four have gelled abit more since they've had a mini run of games together without changing it too much IMO.

Can see us playing 442 for this one. They wont be pushovers, they're fighting for their lives but we have the quality too see it through.

3-1 city...aguero hat-trick and most probably barton for them.

I'm in agreement. His been the worst of the 3 CBs this season, and he is coming back from an injury. Not to mention, we've had a good streak going with the current 11. Outside of hoping he returns immediately to 2011-12 form, there really is no good justification for playing him right now.

He should rest and get fully healed and readied for next season. Hopefully his injuries and shot confidence will be a thing of the past by then.

Whilst i agree MDM/Mangala has been our best partnership this season, if Kompany is fit, he should be coming in. The justification in playing kompany is to give him and Mangala as much playing time as possible. It looks like we're putting all our defensive eggs into them 2 forming a solid partnership. This season so far they haven't done that. We've got 3 competitive games left that don't mean much, they should be used to prepare for next season as much as possible. That includes attempting to sort out our diabolical defensive set-up.

I'd play Kompany and Mangala together for the last few games to prepare for next season. They've rarely played together, and they are the future of our defence.

-------------Aguero---Bony
-----Milner--------------------Silva
--------------Yaya------Dinho
Kolarov-Mangala-Kompany-Zabaleta
--------------------Hart

Subs: Caballero, Clichy, Demichelis, Fernando, Lampard, Navas, Dzeko

If Utd drop points at Palace tomorrow we could blood 3 or 4 youngsters in the last 2 games, we just have to make sure we beat QPR

PLEASE no rotation in defence

Villa scored two. Spurs should've had at least two.
Not for rotating for fun but Kompany/Mangala is the future. Demichelis should get another year where he should be prepared for a coachingrole. I think he can become a great manager.

Isn't his lady well fit? That might be it…

Going to experiment a little here as we've already pretty much got top 3 sewn up.

-----------------------------Hart---------------------
Zabs--------Demi--------------Mangala-------Kolarov
-----------------Kompany--------------Fernandinho----
Navas-----------------------Silva-----------------------Pozo
---------------------------------Aguero------------------------

Would love to see Kompany in central midfield.

It wouldn't be still pretty much sewn up if we played that team.
