City v Saints post match

City fans have always booed. Not a new thing.
The players let the fans down. I have been looking forward to that game, but what I saw reminded me of players who gave league titles away and couldn't be bothered. I didn't think I would see that under Guardiola. He needs to drop a few players.

Pep is ruining City. I've been a Pep hater since Barca days. Bayern got the better manager (My posts month ago will back this up). Look, he has had success. No doubt. But he managed a Iniesta and Messi coming into their prime and a Bayern squad who was in the CL Final the year before. He never took the squad past where City made it last year on their own. The loyalty he has shown to the City fanbase has been disHARTening to say the least. We get it, you're the Alpha. But he's sacrificing our present for a brighter future and supporters have this misplaced hope that it will be better down the road. The only reason is that we're investing millions in the future. Nothing to do with him. He buys young players so when he leaves it is his "legacy:. Yaya and Hart treatment is terrible. The Kun rumors are terrifying. You have a top three striker in the world and want your own man. You can see this in his history from Samuel to Zlatan. Tactic formations are great but we don't have the back ups to replicate the class of the first team (no matter the reports of the press supporting his decisions). I realize most will disagree but sack Pep now before our squad is in shambles. Results show the true class. And in the end, Bayern is worse then when he took over. The young players are not the answer to a better manager (Carlo). Why should we have hope that the publics opinion that the young class should overrtake the older just because? Bayern was worse and Barca was coming into their hayday before him. Plastic fans will support him regardless but the true and through fans know he is a mistake.

Booing is not needed. At least we didn't lose, it's a good job they didn't put away the chances.
IDK what's going on but it's putting doubt in my mind about the harmony of the team. We looked like we had just met on the coach and didn't really have any direction. We are STILL trying to get the ball in the net from 6 yards!!!!!
Movement off the ball was poor and with no imagination. Lateral passing and lack of urgency going forward when we have the overload.
I'm sure Pep will sort it out and it will eventually come good. Hopefully we can look back at these awful moments and say he was 'building'.

I'm still in shock at the booing more than anything else. I am hoping that someone who was booing comes on thread and tells me it wasn't at the team but something else although I'll not hold my breath.
You're moaning about the fans? I can understand anyone who booed that rubbish.

so boo every time we dont win then ? we drew against a really good southampton team, if thats cause to boo then we mayaswell boo every game.

I saw a lot of people laughing and joking all the way through the second half even at the final whistle. They looked like they didn't give a shit whether we won, lost or drew. Would you say their 'couldn't give a toss attitude' is more indicative of their 'passion' for the club than those who boo ?

That's because he was on the left, it's been shown so many times this season that Sterling is far superior on the right. As soon as he was switched he looked far better - I'd argue fault of the manager not the player. Dinho was the pick of the midfielders by some distance even if poor by his high standards, fantastic pass for the goal & much more useful than Silva/Gundogan today, in my eyes at least.

It is startlingly obvious that Sterling is much better on the right as you so rightly say. IMHO he is quite a bit better there than Sane. It does seem a little strange that we have three right wingers and no full backs but I guess the club expected Navas to have left during the summer.

Never in my life have i booed a city team and never would. Boo the ref , boo the opposition , boo linesman , boo the champs league anthem , boo Swales , but f*ck me booing your own team? Always thought our supporters were the best , gallows humour and all that , and our support was great in the 2nd half a real shame the childish booing at the end ruined it.

Some of the match going blues need a reality check. We are top of the league, in the champions league, we've come a long way from the real durge of yesteryear. Booing at the end today was unbelievable, couldn't believe I was hearing it. Maybe some fans are too spoilt and a bit lightweight? They need to get real, its a journey we are on, and not all will be perfect at the start. Need time, patience and support.
