Don't you just like Ederson - tremendous passes out - 50/60 yards.
I know it is easy to say after the event but I did not think Sergio would score his pen. Seemingly he has missed 6 out of his last 15.

Not sure about you but I loved Bernardo's attitude since he came on. 10 minutes on and still left it all there. Hope this is the game changer for him,

Also proof that he is better playing in the middle even in a forward role.

Sané needs to stop being so selfish. He is very technically gifted but that would have been a certain goal if he had passed it to Bernardo.

Anyway, nice second half and props to Shakhtar.

Fernandinho immense. We might have lost it today without him. Motm no contest.

What Delph did well was he knew when to go in for the tackle/attack the opposition and when to sit back when they attacked. He was never caught out of position when we faced a break.

Big shout to the back four Shaktar were dangerous but we cleared up any danger with Stones and Delph getting special mentions. In previous years the opposition might have got a point but the sheer talent throughout the team keeps us in the hunt.

Very good 2nd half performance. Delph has played his way ahead of Danilo as our regular left back now that Mendy will be out. Stones was great. Leroy has moments of sublime ability and others that leave you perplexed, but he's always a threat.

Got to be Leroy - Aguero - Sterling against Chelsea.

When we were up against it for periods in the first half, Fernandinho stood tallest. These kind of open games is where he's at his best. MOTM for me
