top banter !!

Nice one, Manuel.

Brilliant performance!

The first 15 minutes were probably our best this season yet. We looked hungry, incisive and tough in the tackle. The ref was definitely influenced by the home crowd as he not only bottled the Aguero penalty decision, he unbelievably booked him too!

Clichy was brilliant and so were Yaya and especially Fernandinho. I thought Jovetic was brilliant in the first half too, as some if his touches were simply sublime and help us control the match as opposed to Dzeko playing with Aguero.

Perhaps the international break and a bit of luck was we needed, but we've got three wins from three crucial but tricky games in the space of a week that were always going to have a big bearing on our season and we can't ask for no more than that.

I still don't think we're at our best, buyt the fact we still have another level or two within us will probably send out the message that we're starting to roll at last.

This made me laugh !- Reporter just asked Pellers…………

Q: What about Lampard’s future at City?
A. Pellegrini: We’ll decide in December
Q: It’s December tomorrow
A. Pellegrini: OK – Ask me tomorrow then

Sorry ! - just noticed posted earlier.

I thought that was a fantastic performance today and the end to an excellent week for us.

I don't give him praise often but it thought clichy was superb again today.

Aguero though other than his miss was excellent.

Mangala's first yellow was actually his 5th yellow of the season anyway, so he would've missed the next match anyway.

Thanks for making a positive out of a decidedly dodgy start to his City career.

In my view, he'll be excellent in a year or two but, boy, does he have to start learning the ways of the Prem asap. No thanks to Yaya for the second card who was otherwise top draw and back to his best.

Every time Toure starts waving his arms and standing about 40 yards out, you know he wants to score. Then he usually does. Cakegate is becoming a distant memory and not before time.

Also well done to Nasri for his 65 mins. Donkey work that many don't appreciate.

Finally, Aguero had just about his best match in the shirt today and if he'd just got round the [very decent] keeper, it would have been the icing on the cake. As the beIN boys said, it was terrible for the ref to call him a cheat. First yellow for diving ever. Fucking disgrace, Jones.

Oh, almost forgot, Hart was majestic although he should stick to throwing the ball out as much as possible. Good effort for Movember, Joe! Hope you raised a packet.

Great stuff today from the lads and for the entire match as well. Same goes for the lads and lasses singing away. All very clear on TV. Well done.

Time to step up to the plate Cedryck Boyata!

dont hold your breath.
FFS mate I'm happy and (semi) pissed at the moment, I didn't need that reality check!
Somebody at City is going to have to swallow their pride for at least one game and put him in...

I reckon all the cards dished out by that arsehole of a ref should be rescinded, where did the aguero bookin come in the top ten of shite bookings, and as for the offside, what happened to advantage, he waited till we was on the edge of their area before he brought it back. no agenda eh

Great point Pudge but I think we both know there's more chance of one of us playing.

Well that result has fucked up all tomorrow's headlines!!

Then again Mangala did get sent off so I am sure that will be the back page headline tomorrow!!

My view of that - Yaya dawdled - put Mangala in trouble - His tackle was clumsy - got a second yellow 2 yellows = Red.
Before that he was playing well - strong but headstrong. Youth on his side though . -
