City v Sporting Kansas City 23rd July

I have got to say that Kelechi Iheanacho is the real thing! He can only play this one game against Sporting Kansas City here in the US because he is still on the precontract. Apparently, he will be signing a proper contract in October when he turns 18.

Iheanacho scored the 4th goal which is only proper since he played the whole game. His movement and awareness of space is excellent and meant he was in the right place many times to contribute to the attack throughout the game. I'd be surprised if he isn't in the first team before he is 19. He is that good!

Nice to see our win COMPLETELY ignored by everyone in England except one MEN journalist. The rest are on their knees covering United and pretending the champions don't exist.

That was a really good game of football, not for the first time it was the new youngsters who impressed me the most. Zuculini has had a good preseason, Kelechi stole the show today, and Huws was good the other day, while Rekik has been solid. Guidetti just doesn't look up to it though.

P.S. Kelechi plays for United and he's the "new Samuel Eto'o" in tomorrow's papers. As it is, he'll get a passing mention.

Actually thought Fernando did well.

Ye I enjoyed watching Fernando tonight looked the real deal in parts. Iheanacho tho.... Wow what a night for the 17 year old absolutely buzzing he got his goal well deserved. Zucalini was also good put himself about and isn't afraid. In all it was a good game we looked decent going forward Kolarov with his deadly crosses.

Bad defending from Kolarov there for the goal.

Actually, on second replay! it was Boyata that played Sapong on, as he was just jogging back to the offside line.

It was actually Richards, just look before spouting nonsense

Not the greatest opposition it's true, but thought Clichy looked more up for it than for some time, particularly when going forward. Looked a lot fitter than in recent times too

Just been reading some of the other posts and it's great to see so many City supporters over here. It would have been really great if some of these Guiness tourement games could have been in Atlanta but the closest is DC where the Rags play and I wouldn't walk across the road to see that lot. Oh, well, it's great to see City play in the evening instead of having to get up way too early for the early EPL game.

First, BT Sport's coverage did not show an "offside" camera angle until well after the goal, so no one knew it was the slow stroll back, hence my edit from the initial viewing (and your nonsense).

Second, are you absolutely sure?

100% sure, when they showed it side on the commentator said it was Boyata but he was mistaken as he was in red boots so it was Richards, hmmm but your edit was wrong?
