City v Spurs post match

Offload......Navas, Zabba, Clichy, Kolarov, Sagna, Otamendi, Yaya, Nasri, Mangala & Bony.

Pep can then sprinkle his own ingredients on the squad along with promoting a couple up from the EDS and bingo

Yep, cant wait but in the meantime, lets not be so quick to write this side or this season off because i have a feeling it could still turn out reasonably successful.

Watched the match again this morning. Our performance was even better than I thought last night when leaving the ground. How did the officials not see that shove on Raheem!

I joked in the first couple of minutes that the media hacks don't have to write new match reports for City, they just c&p the last one and change the names.

Didn't expect it to literally be the case. "City dominate, waste chances, opponent scores only shots on goal and gets undeserved result, whilst City feel hard done by the ref again".

so at some point we will win 1-0 with our only shot on goal, but it'll probably be too late by then.

Definite penalty and sending off yesterday so frustrating these fine margins in games keep costing us..we played brilliant yesterday and should have won especially at 2 0 up the way we are defending this season though you would be never confident in us doing that lol next season I'm sure we will be more solid.
Just one other thing though with the paranoia regarding refereeing decisions I agree with it to an extent but when people bring up the Luiz incident with ageuro like it was a stone wall sending off,I disagree.. it was dubious and would have been harsh on Luiz, you still got to look at things objectively,If that was stones and costa threw himself to the ground and Stones or Otamedi got sent off alot of people would use that as being a terrible decision and being a conspiracy against us lol.

I think we'll have at least one cup run, feels like that kind of season, I think it suits this team better.

I've not read the full thread, but regarding the push on Sterling - which was definitely a penalty for me - suppose he had gone to ground?
I think that after the push and his awareness of it, that Raheem simply didn't have any room to go down and there would have been a collision with Lloris.
The officials should have noted that and acted accordingly, I mean a £50 million player isn't going to risk injuring another player or himself surely?
The officiating for that incident was beyond poor, it was diabolical!

He should have gone down. Very naive and foolish.
The boy lacks intelligence.

He made a lit of silly decisions, that cost us.

In terms of the bigger worry though. If bravo doesn't turn this around, getting a keeper in who can make some saves shouldn't be too tricky in the summer. Trying to sort out this defence is going to be fucking murder unless VK can come in and sort things out.

The problem for me is that Otamendi is our 'experienced' central defender, unless you count Kolarov. We need one, we can't just sign 21 year olds & expect to win titles.

But our lynchpin, is Otamendi, who is the most headless player in the team. How can young defenders learn from him ?

We could really do with finding one experienced cb imo, even if it's a Demichelis style veteran.
