How woeful was some of our passing today? Well pleased with John Rolls Royce Stone again, though.

A quiet game as they parked the bus and we were already comfortable. Second half was better and the goal was sweet.
Really intelligent cut-back from Kelechi, hopefully not out long, and Delph with the great header. No one played badly and the pressing was still there.
Kolarov has been impressive in a new position, but can only give motm to Joe Hart. Seemingly his last game, 100% pass completion, loved his comments after: the fondness he has for this club and behind the circus, everyone involved have acted professionally. The cheeky "pigs do fly" was nice too.
Very glad he was captain, loved the support for him. End of last season fresh in the memory we are in the champions league, you beauty!

Never troubled.
Calf injury for Kelchi (Sadly).
Good send off for Joe and great comments from the big man.

Other Comments
Fernando's shit - can't pass forward and doesn't advance into space if offered.
Yaya is finished.
Kolorov can indeed play centre half for Pep - which is a good job as he's toss at left back

Kola played very well MOTM for me, the youngsters showed up well, didn't look overawed. I thought Yaya played ok, but the three or four times he got the ball in a position to make one of his famous runs, he just turned round or played it sideways. Not sure if that's Pep's instructions or he just doesn't have the engine anymore. Some of our passing was off, which was disappointing, and Navas had a poor game, which was frustrating, although he did tee up the goal. Job's done, happy with the result, very sad to see what might be the last of Super Joe...

Was very comfortable game...no pressure and it was nice to see Joe as captain in what will probably be his last game for us.
Pep must know how popular Joe is, but if he wants another keeper then we have to back his judgment ( although I'm gutted about Joe leaving).
Hope Kelechi isn't out for long.

Stones looks so comfortable on the ball and has a good range of passing.
The young kids did well if none were exceptional. Bring on the draw tomorrow.

I'm a new fan of Romanian women. Saw about five super model level women dotted about tonight. Good work Romania, good work!

Yeah the match, it happened, next...

Possibly a goodbye to two City heroes. 50/50 whether Joe goes, but Yaya was very poor. Zero penetration and that was Toure's job. There's no role for him at City. Not even as an impact sub or as a squad player for the League Cup.

Tosin did well when he came on. Stones did well. Experience for maffeo. But really game will be very quickly forgotten.

Rousing reception for Joe during and after the game which was about the only thing I will remember.

The other thing of note was the total chaos outside the ground. Turnstile queues held up by Romanian fans who wanted to be in the home end but had colours on and were told to go in the away end. At least that's how I interpreted it. Saw a lot of arguments with stewards. Took me 20 mins of queueing to get in which was like the old days at maine Rd but then you were used to it.

I thought Fernando and Delph were frustrating, a lot of wayward passes, a couple of others were also guilty at times. Atmosphere wasn't great but to be expected for a dead rubber. Real shame about Iheanacho's injury.

Good to see Maffeo, Angelino and Adarbioyo all get game time though.

What I learnt tonight...

Yaya is history
Delph and Fernando aren't good enough
If there was only 1 leg left in the whole world, Navas would hit it.
Stones is a legend in the making
AK once again looked more comfortable at centre than left back
Tosin looked comfortable
Angelino isn't a winger

Think that's about it.

There was one moment in the second half where Yaya had the ball as City were breaking away and it looked like he was going on one of his storming runs but he was half a yard off his old pace. I think he's done. Thanks for goals like the one against Villa at the end of the 2014 title winning season, for some stunning free kicks, and for the winner in the Cup Final and the two goals at Newcastle. And for one of the best City songs.

i had my worries before tonight regarding up front ,and although i hope the kids injury is short term .past experiences with the `delicate `and frankly injury prone Sergio plus the impending departure of Bony ,will leave us short If we do manage to sell Bony, a consideration must be to see whats available before the window shuts I might incur the wrath of some ,but before his injury tonight the kid was almost unnoticeable to the one who came on at Stoke He hasnt found any consistency ( im sure it will come with time) But i would think our chances will be restricted if we lose Aguero for any length of time, with what we currently have in terms of cover for him

Agree on every point.
