City v Stoke City |Match Day thread |13th | 17:15 | FA CUP

playing Vieira, Barry, and De Jong, at home, to the fodder of the league the past two games is an absolute disgrace.

How can people be criticising santa.... Least he won a few balls and held it up. Seriously wtf is with some of you lot. Compare him to adebayor, santa did so much more thna he did. He was making the effort and actually challenging in the air.

Santa cruz gotta start on tuesday

i dont know why both the managers we have had insist on playing such negative tactics. it is true, we always take the foot off the gas when we take the lead and just settle for it. do united do that? do chelsea do that? no they dont. they push for a second and a third. thats why we have a shit goal difference. thats why we couldnt hold on at home to fulham, burnley hull etc. its the same every week.

not going to moan, but if I could say two words to the players it would be "Tempo" and "Aggression"..increase both of these, and we're home and dry.

once we got the goal stoke were there for the taking, but we started getting a bit sloppy and complacent. I honestly didn't think it was tactical, because we started very positively. for some reason the players just didn't kick on. petrov coming off was a big problem, because we were set up to use the width. ireland was very disappointing in the second half. swp's delivery was terrible. some assume there a problem in the coaching, but do players really need to be told to keep working hard and pushing for the second goal?

Disappointing to have taken our foot off the gas as we were playing so well. Credit to Stoke for making it a contest. Will be very difficult to get a result there.

We look such a disjointed at times it beggers belief, very poor performance all round.

Worst part was taking off Ireland and bringing on vieira, I can't even begin to wonder what that was about.
