City v Stoke (Semi-final FA Youth cup 2nd leg)

Great performance, but disappointing that a sellout was around 70% full.
Yes, I could have booked earlier, but ironically, I didn’t buy because I wasn’t 100% certain that I’d finish work early enough.
Then I discover that some City fans seem to have done the exact opposite.

All you can do until they come up with a better system is make sure you're not the one caught out next time.

Completely agree, I wanted to take my two little lads but was told it was sold out, presumably people getting tickets and not using them, fucking daft system

I was there tonight and just find it so weird that there were so many who had a ticket and didn't turn up. The attendance was 3502 from what I've heard and yet the capacity is 7000. It was just great to watch the lads tonight and it must have been really frustrating not to get a ticket. I wonder do other teams have this type of problem or is just that City have the strangest fans on the planet....haha!!!.

Agree completely, and after being there for Liverpool and Southampton, I'll be there for the Final.
However, I think we all agree that there's something not quite right with the way we sell these games (including the ladies fixtures).

Sad I missed this but nobody to blame but myself. Great result, well done everybody.
Shame you missed it. Couldnt help but be impressed not just with the quality of play and especially some of the goals but also the effort put in throughout the team. Even with just a few minutes to go they were at it closing Stoke down, winning balls, harrassing them into mistakes. 87 minutes on the clock and Nmecha, already with a hat trick sprinted 25 yards across the pitch to stop their giant center back knocking the ball upfield.

Carsley picked a team with tons of attacking flair bur he also gets a full shift from them all so that we don't leave too many holes when we lose the ball. Bolton's tracking back was awesome.

Stoke were crap though:)

- Honestly think Brahim looks ready for the first team

- Sancho has unbelievable feet and will almost definitely end up being a top talent but I worry that he can be a bit too selfish for a pep side. Only young so has plenty of time to work on that though.

- It's been said before but Foden seems to not only have the ability on the ball but he plays with maturity beyond his years. Very composed, always playing with his head up looking for the right pass and he was working hard until the final whistle.

- Bolton was motm tonight. Seemingly limitless energy. Was getting back to help defend, fought for every ball and he's got a pin point cross on him.

- Gonzalez looks like he needs a bit more time to adapt, plus he only had 10 mins so cant judge.

Gonzalez was also played wide right when he is naturally a center forward and by the time he came on some of the intensity in out ayyacking had gone.He will be top class
