Were the tickets free? If so that's the problem. Charge people and at least make them think about it. They could even refund the money on entry to the stadium if they want to make it free.
 
I'd love to see some of these boys get a chance with the first team whilst they have momentum.
It would be sad if they hung around u23, had a few loans where older pros played,whilst they were benched , then they drifted away. When I watch Navas I think surely one of our young players could offer more.
 
I watched some of this game on City facebook, and was really impressed with the overall standard.

How long until they are in the 1st team? Next season?

Hopefully Diaz. The rest are fantastic as well but probably a couple of years off being first team regulars in my opinion
 
Foden Diaz Smith and the right back really impressed, as did the set up and style replicating the current first team set up. This must make it much easier for them to step up. Enjoyed it as much as a first team game, will be back.

If we have any dead rubbers at the end of the season, I'd like to see a couple tried out (particularly Diaz, Foden and Sancho). The same in preseason and then hopefully they could play bit parts throughout next season after the group of out of contract players move on.

Thought Muric in goal was excellent last night. Think he caught every cross and quickly and accurately sent the ball forwards.
