City v Sunderland Post Match Discussion Thread

De jong needs to be kept out of the first team. We were doing brilliantly til he came back. Far too negative.

I know for a fact Man Ure will drop points against:
Blackburn
Swansea
Sunderland
Us.
We will win!
Arsenal lost to QPR, they're getting off of their recent form which is good for us.

Sorry lads but the selection blew it today, Dzeko was absolutely shite again today so why does our intelligent italian boss take silva, our only creative midfielder off & bring tevez on !

Silva was absolutely shit as well.

4 mins of added-on time. Dowd blows dead-on 4 mins despite Cattermole blatantly taking the piss and walking off at a snail's pace wasting close to a minute.
Absolute joke.

When you weigh in Webb's strange ending at Stoke it starts to look very very suspicious to me.

as someone else eloquently put it " the premier league is a product that goes around the world, and its major selling point is the red shite"

Personally, I think both points in your post are utter bollocks.

Agreed Cheesy.... but worse to come tonight I'm afraid...

We have some right spoilt fuckers 'following' us..

Please tell me why we can't play the first 20mins every game like we do the last v Sunderland, v Sporting, v Chelsea.

Kill them off then relax.
Not sure what to think anymore!

That's three or four times in the last few weeks that we've had a barnstorming comeback - the big question is why the hell do we wait until the other team are almost out of sight, with 80 minutes gone, before we actually play like we give a shit?

I can't think of many games this season where we've started the game like we want to batter a team (most batterings have happened with second half flurries of goals). Does Bobby even try to motivate players before the game, or does he just tell them tactics and presume they will motivate themselves?

Unsure how i feel tbh. We needed a win today and its shocking we didnt win at home to sunderland, but people saying the title race is over is a bit dramatic, if utd lose on monday(unlikely but u never know) weve gained a point on them! still a long way too go i think.

If we can't beat Sunderland in our own home then what are the chances we can win our next 4 away games. Our form this month has been abysmal. I ,however, cannot see how we are able to win those games.

well i think its a bit silly to say that, each game is a new day, i think atm we are shitting ourself a bit, if the title is utds to blow, im hoping we see a different side to us.....all we can do is hope and wait and see right? but this isnt over till may, i certainly will keep faith untill its mathematically impossible :O)

There was a title at stake yet we started shit at Swansea, Stoke and at home today at walking pace. Can we not learn from our previous mistakes? Ended up chasing the game again, this is becoming like groundhog day the past month. Why are starting off these crucial must win games as if it is a charity match?
Silva looks just shot and sadly, has added nothing in the last two months, let's try something different next week at arsenal. Great fight back though bu not enough, a bit like our title challenge this season.
