I thought he said Yaya, as that was the question put to him.

Could be mistaken, though.
Could be mistaken myself. Think the commentator asked about why ota on the bench and no Yaya. Which was a silly question, coz we couldn't decipher who Pep was answering about. But I assumed it was Ota coz he'd already said he'd need a fitness test today earlierin the week.
 
I had expected four of those to be in today's line-up. It's arguably one of the most attacking line-ups we have fielded in recent years.
Or ever, really... Though, I did miss a fair amount of matches pre-80's, so I could be wrong.
 
The caballero decision is something I will never understand. As for Kolarov, I think he has worked with Guardiola from the very start of the preseason and the manager believes and trust's him to follow his instructions and lead from the back, how that plays out in a high tempo, pacey premier league match remains to be seen. This team will defend by keeping possession and as long as we do that, then the worries at the back may be papered over. In this type of game, the impetus will be on offense and doing things on the ball.
